stattointhailand wrote: ↑July 17, 2022, 9:33 pmIf you insist ........ football is a game played by the vast majority of countries in the world. It takes place on one or two occasions down under in what is known as "pre season" a time when certain clubs and players play meaningless matches to keep sponsors all over the world happy. These games are of little use to anyone but at least allow the players to have a few days away with their mates in what has now been deemed as "team building" which seems to go down well with the majority of American owners
Really? I thought Canadian Football was only played in British North America. Canucks believe that soccer is played by more countries than any other game in the world with baseball and hockey coming in second and third.
We make our world significant by the courage of our questions and by the depths of our answers.

Re: Football Friendly in Bangkok....
Im not surprised people would insert their own comments within a quoted section, what worries me is that the system would allow it to happen ......... surely it cannot be labeled as a "quote" if it has been altered?
Re: Football Friendly in Bangkok....
I've noticed a few members have issues with simple quote attribution. These can look like misquotes. Happens on the 'big forum' which uses a much more up-to-date platform. However, they have put defaults in their response buttons so you can only respond to a single post and the 'chain-mail'' preceding it is suppressed. However, like this forum, there's nothing to stop lines being inserted in another's post when quoted but it is against ALL forum rules. That's what 'Report" buttons are for.stattointhailand wrote: ↑July 20, 2022, 2:46 pmIm not surprised people would insert their own comments within a quoted section, what worries me is that the system would allow it to happen ......... surely it cannot be labeled as a "quote" if it has been altered?
Maybe it's an honest mistake by Desiree as it really doesn't make much sense where the references to donkeys was inserted. Looks like it should have been posted as a response but maybe she didn't scroll all the way down?

Might be something you can change in the settings? But agree is a bit strange.stattointhailand wrote: ↑July 20, 2022, 2:46 pmIm not surprised people would insert their own comments within a quoted section, what worries me is that the system would allow it to happen ......... surely it cannot be labeled as a "quote" if it has been altered? Did I mention Sunderland are the greatest team the world has ever seen?
