Our little informal Bridge Club is getting low on members. New ones needed. No experience necessary, you can learn by playing. No gambling involved. Usually try to meet at least once a week.

More interesting than being a keyboard commando!

Taxi for Whistler!

OK, I will never have a dog in this fight but I'm sure some folks are passively interested if a certain personage is still active in the bridge group.

No need to repeat my comments from some months ago. At least two of the Bridge regulars are not in the best of health, I have spoken to both in the last week. Good luck in finding new players Rick, perhaps my previous comments will encourage a change in the attitudes of some.
Best being part of this forum by placing the intellectual challenged on foes list. A lot less post to read and a great time saver.

Do we all need to RSVP to this invite?

If so, I respectively decline due to other commitments.

lucky escape there Rick .. ive never played bridge and dont have the slightest inclination to start , i do know its a card game played by rather intelligent elderly charming people who like to suck on a Werthers original whilst debating where to buy the best socks n sandals and lawn mower parts... im guessing KP may struggle to spell bridge or even walk over one without causing one to make an unecessary obtuse comment ... but rather adept at dwelling under a bridge truncheon in hand ready to strike on the unwary ..

Anyone up for a game of snap ???

Ah the comments keep coming m shame that reading ability is lost on some. I did mention I had played Bridge before but for reasons given would not be joining. Happily however I am glad that DM is unable to grasp the basic requirements to partake in the playing of bridge, but you are right in one aspect DM, when I did play I was often thwarted in winning by an elderly lady whose mastery of the game would make many Casinos ban her. Hahaha

I forgot the rules, but I'll play snap with you. Do we have to wear Scunthorpe soccer jerseys?

I'm a canasta man myself. Something about playing with two packs just seems right.
