What about non-Thai travelling from Lao to Thailand and vice versa ?

My understanding is you can now travel from Thai to Laos and back again as a foreigner. Can someone confirm in case I got this wrong?

Any specific wicket on reentering Thailand?

Nong Khai - Lao Border Crossing requirements the same:
1 or 2 passport photos
filled in Lao immigration form / visa on arrival.
40.00 immigration fee
assuming now, proof of vaccination or recent negative test results.

Lao - Nong Khai Re-entry
re-entry form/stamp for passport. 1k re-entry stamp from Udon Immigration.
filled in Thai Immigration form
assuming, proof of vaccination or recent negative test results.

If you go with the bus from Udon to Lao you must have your Lao visa ready in advance, they will not wait for you at the bridge, There is a Lao consul in Khon Kaen.
