Carrick turns down Smoggies and Loppo turns down Wolves both probably waiting for Villa and Everton to become available in a few days

Even Scunny have got more sense than to employ that old :fart:

He'll take a couple of weeks in Dubai and by then Wankie will have the toffees firmly in the bottom three and he will ready to take them down :-"

Southend... Wrexham... How parochial. I hope they're not breeding while discovering life beyond the slag heaps.

I remember when Leeds went down in the 80s and again in the 00s, I felt the same. When they went down to the 3rd tier the novelty lasted a few weeks until the reality of watching us play at places like Burton and Yeovil kicked in. Smaller grounds meant less tickets too so, even getting there wasnt a given.

They need to be careful what they wish for. Trips to Curzon Ashton and Peterborough Sports (who?) wont be quite as attractive :D

I did hear last time scunny fans went to Wales .. there was an incident in which the RSPCA was called .. suffice to say the sheep survived and the fan who shall remain anon was released on bale .

I reiterate ..once you are a Scunny fan its for life .. regardless good times n bad and where ever they play .. inc NLN maybe next year.

Very true Samster .. Eastliegh only gave scunny 400 tickets n sold out ... but thats footy .. sad but true i would be happy to go down to the NLN if it means getting rid of chairman Swan n new owners ..

South Shields 1-0 Scunthorpe

I'm disappointed.

Scunthorpe off to Southend Utd next Saturday afternoon, that's Beer Monkey's old team. As of today, Southend lie 12th while Scunthorpe are at 23. Their form over the last five league games looks to be four draws and a win.
