So Jumbo and vid, seeing as Sunak seems to be on the nose, who would be your choice?
If it helps, a lot of sensible people would suggest Starmer.
But don't let that deflect you.

Dissolve parliament and invoke monarchist rule, the devine right of Camilla's handbag.
Best being part of this forum by placing the intellectual challenged on foes list. A lot less post to read and a great time saver.

Goodness ....... the more I read of this, the more my eyes are opened to the desperate (or is it depraved) depths of the UK Tory press.
This. (indirectly) from the Mail:
This. (indirectly) from the Mail:
When Johnson eventually did decide to stand aside on Sunday night, it was just in time for a rapid rewriting of newspaper editorials. The Mail described his decision to exit the contest as “a remarkable gesture of magnanimity from a remarkable politician – perhaps the most brilliant of his generation”.
In a glowing editorial it praised Johnson, suggesting it was in his gift to choose whether he wanted to be prime minister. “With his formidable campaigning skills, optimism and vision, and ability to woo parts of the electorate that had never voted Tory before – to great success in the Red Wall – who would have bet against him? But for the good of the party and the nation, he set his dream aside. This was a gesture of wisdom and statesmanship. By withdrawing from the race, he has spared his party a bloody and fatal civil war.”

Re: General Discussion of UK Politics
The ERG have already released a statement that they couldn't agree amongst themselves which candidate to vote for, so despite saying they will support whoever wins, everyone knows the knives are out already in the far right. Classic case of making sure the "winner" is screwed before he/she got elected, by publicly stating both candidates supported their screwed up Irish beliefs and their 3% defense ideas ............. might be a good idea to put the redecorating on hold
