Yeah, I would these days Statts. And I only fly to Udon now. But back in the day Nakornchai Air, the 2nd class sleeper on the rotfai and the Pattaya express used to get a decent run.stattointhailand wrote: ↑October 26, 2022, 6:27 pm3, 4 & 5 are trick questions. Re: QUIZ TIME IN UDON
Used a Thai train once and bus once (both about 15 yrs ago) and swore "never again"
Broke that vow due to circumstances just before covid hit and due to Mrs Statts needing the motor, I took the bus to Jomtien. Not saying it was bad, but, I couldn't face the return journey so booked a flight back.

4. You would go to Baw Kaw Saw Nua and get one of those air-conditioned buses headed to the north-east.

On reflection, it was an unfair bonus question, and I also need to deduct a point from myself, as apparently there were 2 lead singers.

See that corner Jack? No the other one with the stool and the conical hate with 'D' on it!

I'd be happy to serve my penance, but apparently the corner is unavailable.

I would have gone to Mo Chit Bus Terminal out by Chatuchak market in the old days. I assume it's still there.
