Winter to start in Thailand this Saturday, October 29th, Thai Meteorological Department says

Thailand will officially enter winter on Saturday, October 29th, two weeks later than usual, the Thai Meteorological Department reported on Wednesday, October 26th.
Winter season is expected to last until the end of February 2023, according to the officials, and will be colder than last year. The average minimum temperature in upper Thailand is expected to be about 20 degrees Celsius with the coldest period from December 2022 to January 2023.

In northern and northeastern Thailand, the lowest temperature is expected to be about 8-9 degrees Celsius.

In Bangkok, the lowest temperature could reach 17-19 degrees Celsius and about 15-16 degrees Celsius in its vicinity. The coldest period will start from December 2022 to the end of January 2023.

In southern Thailand, cold weather is likely on some days, mostly in the upper part. But heavy rain is expected, especially on the east coast in November and December. Heavy to very heavy rain is also possible in some places and will cause flash floods as well as overflowing in the banks in many areas.

Well my long sleeved shirts, three long sleeved jumpers and my various coats will be making a return from the wardrobe in the spare room for the next few months.
It actually works out cheaper than drinking a bottle of Johnnie Walker a day to keep warm

To those that dont understand that only one county uses the Imperial system read on

I guess those signs I saw in Great Britain and N. Ireland last month stating miles were left over from years ago and my niece who lives there and uses pounds for weight is old time. Also what's this thing about people weighing in Stones?

Don't forget acres, hectares et al. I was brought up using the imperial system, but I use C rather than F for temperatures now. However, for measurement I still like inches, feet and yards, which are still used in baseball, hockey and Canadian football. I am not sure what are soccer teams use. I like to be 6' tall and do not know what that is under the metric system. I use to be 175 lbs., but now I am 80 or 82 kg., which is meaningless to me.
