I did a cursory Thai google search, found nothing for evenings. Buffets seem to be more of a lunch thing.

If you're into seafood, check out the restaurant across from the former Chevrolet dealership. I went there last night and it's amazing what you can get for 359 baht including soft drinks. Now I know why there are always so many cars parked there. We got there at 5pm and had no parking problems.

Been there, reluctantly so I might add, as I have never understood the Thai love of Shabu. You boil the flavour out of the food, then dip it in a sauce because it has no flavour. Am I alone with this comment?
Best being part of this forum by placing the intellectual challenged on foes list. A lot less post to read and a great time saver.

Dont know if this place has had a mention on UM yet but ... well worth one.

Woods n Hoods International buffet .. located same complex as Bombay Indian and Fluid pub.

After a minor surgery and busy moving house Dm been suffering with a bout of the long flu and first time really felt like venturing out ... so was invited out today to above venue .... large place but was already very very busy at 11;30 am ..bookings are recommended or have to wait for a table which isnt as bad as its sounds as the Buffet has a 2 hour time limit so always tables becoming free.

Dont go if your a cheap Charlie ( unless of course some one is treating you :D ) .. the eat as much as you wish buffet is 599 per head which at first seems a bit peng , BUT absolutely worth every baht , waitress service huge tick the box menu fast service including some fantastic dishes many Japanese , drinks and deserts included.

A very full DM.

Same location as Bombay indian restrant n Fluid pub .. next to the posh Celini housing estate... theres a basket ball court in the back of the complex and a light aeroplane in the car park .. Udon Mastertech is located there.

Best google it Paul.5555... i very enjoy , i dont like these serve n cook.yerself buffets , this place just sit n fill.yer boots .. theres even a proper fire exit so you can slip.out for some air when the check bin comes like i did.

Go hungry .. i went in like an extra from.Tenko ..came out like Les Dawson

Got me thinking n number crunching ..

Woods n Hoods can seat crca 250 at any one time per 2 hours each paying 599 per head which is their basic set buffet price ..(they do a 799 also.).. lets say they easily fit in 5 x 2 hour sittings per day 10am to 8pm .. which means this restarant could possibly be grossing circa 600 to 800 k PER DAY ...22 mil per month gross .. so even at a very low estimate of 30% net net thats 6 mil plus per month .. not a bad little earner.

As a footnote huge number of staff all the service are were cracking looking lasses .. chefs all male and are in full view preparing and cooking the dishes.

Some of the highlighted dishes we had today

Numerous Jap stuff sashimi sushi etc
Pork spare ribs, chops
Bla saba steak.n larb
Salmon steak
Wagyu beef steak
Tuna steak n larb
Thai fusion
Numerous shellfish , shrimp
Beef tongue
Spaghetti , pasta dishes
Salads , soups
Pizza slices .. which were the worst item we tried
Plus
Excellent dessert waffles pancakes gelato icecream
Full range of hot n cold drinks inc coffee

Well worth a visit especially fir a special.occasion... best to book if over the weekend thoigh our service girl whom.i might add had very large bussoms said full.everyday.

The fire exit is conveniently located near the WCs but well covered by cctv watching for runners.

funny you should mention doggy bags as I did ask for the pile of spare rib bones to take home for mi two jack russells timmy they promptly bagged them up and also heat sealed the bag.

Fortunately Dao n I were being treated to this buffet extravaganza though i must admit to feeling unconsolable shyness when the bill arrived :^o but i fought through the pain.

For those who like seafood there is the Non Sung, Mueang Udon Thani District, Seafood Buffet all you can eat, cook for yourself, for about ฿400 plus drinks, it’s on the left before one of the pedestrian bridges on the way to Khon Kaen.
They do have a verity of other things available

In my posts all fees and requirements are the standard R&R but TIT and a brown envelope can make incredible changes YMMV.

Sukee Tee Noi is quite popular. On the east side on the inbound of Rte 22. Before the Big C Overpass. So popular they have people waiting on benches outside. Pay your buffet money and you're then "on the clock" to eat as much as you can.. One of the adds shows it as 219 baht.. A nephew went and said it was over 300 baht with great food and good value. https://www.google.com/maps/place/%E0%B ... FQAw%3D%3D...
