Interesting little snippet i picked up about CLIMATE change, Antartic ICE SHEET is actually growing , now although one has to admit it is getting warmer, we are also suffering from HREE years of El nina effect.

So although we are NOT ruling out clamte apocalypse, Mother Earth has its own agenda , none of us may see the final outcome , but it has happened before !!!!!!!!!!!!

ONE Antarctic icesheet is growing, due to changed wind patterns. Overall still loosing ice. Another factor affecting both poles is that a warmer ocean (due to climate change) means more evaporation which leads to more precipitation (mainly as snow) which helps offset the rate of melting. It is possible that ice sheets could grow instead of shrinking, but it would take a LOT of snow to offset the melting.

I am still sceptical about hydrogen. You either generage it from fossil fuels (which wastes a lot of the energy of the fossil fuel) or you use electrolysis which is also inefficient (you loose about 80% of rhe electrical energy). I suspect electric vehicles will be a more energy efficient option. In the end, to be really successful, the econonics have to work. I am sure there will be some niche markets, but i doubt it will be a big player.
