Well it is forecasted to be dry until the latter end of the month, today started misty and now will be a gorgeous day with sun and a gentle breeze. Not hot but pleasant

Checking the weather fir the next 10 days .. 30s daytime temps tagged teamed with 13 14 overnight lows ... fandabbydozi mak mak... can try out the new electrically heated underpants ... as my old gran used to say ..young Jon keep yer bollocks warm.n the rest of you will be warm as well or someting similar depending on her meds n if blotto or not

Anyway .. lets enjoy this perfect weather while it lasts ..

Agree Dave .. spolit a tad by those naughty sugar cane farmers burning at night ilegally spewing ash everywhere .. obviously the law not being enforced with regard to burning another year .

As low as 13 tonight in some parts around Udon city .. possibly lower out in the Boonies and East side favelas.

The locals all wrapped like they are going snow boarding whilst DM struts his stuff in shorts n T shirt tho must admit to getting a tad nipple stiff at 6am... at least Dao is getting some use for her Christmas prezzie .. a woolly balaclava brings back memories of an old GF from Scunny who robbed post offices for a living.

Good run of chilly mornings forecast ...marvelous

The ONLY good thing about these temperatures is the fact that the lekky bill plumets ......... not had a fan on for nearly 2 months ........... note to self ....... get DNA test done and find out where that bit of Jock blood has come from

This weaher is making all of us out to be liars, although despite forecass of cold to very chilly , 10-11 degreres in the morning. nothing, the coldest it has been was a mere 13 at 0500 a couple of days ago since then late evening still in mid-20's and morning at 0830 in the low 20's

SDo someone got it really wrong for Udon Thani area, it is VERY DRY, watering daily and monitoring the lily pots also drying up quickly.

on my 6am thermometer check been as low as 11 a few times over this way KP .. pretty much as forecast

Rather a strange post , not contradicting you KP, you been on the navy rations again or that time of the month just before pensions arrive ??..

i am simply stating what my thermometer reads and the TMD site i use has been quite accurate in relation to where we live NOT where you live ... nothing more nothing less.

I dont need to speak for Udon just comment on the things and people as i find them.

Sitting at the traffic lights this morning, the truck thermometer says 15, my phone says 16, my lads phone said 14 and my other phone said 58.

Who should I complain to?

I take most of these posted temperatures with a pinch of salt. I have a maximum/minimum thermometer which i have cross checked with 2 other thermometers so i know it is pretty accurate. The problem is, microclimates can have temperatures that vary a lot from 'official' temperatures. On my veranda, lowest temperature this month has been 16 Centigrade. That little bit of roof makes a lot of difference, as does all the concrete nearby. Down on the farm, usually 2 degrees less. Haven't seen those 10 degrees or less for about 8 years. I remember all those Thais shivering in front of an open fire in the mornings 10 years ago, never see it now.

At my location today 6am thermometer read 13 ... though as previously posted the next 3 days is forecast to get down a tad lower MAYBE even single digits.
