Good womens can found anywhere if you lucky place..job..family ..location isnt mean you will consider they good or bad..it same your country have good and bad..You will know by yourself if you found right one..she maybe work in bar but who will know if she nice person..oppsoite I saw many womens good job but her back full lots bad thing and lot loan.

I was surprised how many Udon women were on the website - 100. Perhaps it's a reflection of the tough times. Tough financially and tough on relationships.

Wow .. the story in the previous post re the Ban Dung Cloggie n the missing 5mil has made it too the national.tv ch 32 ..
Dutch guy with lawyers and translator giving his side of the story.

... brave fella taking on a Thai government worker on the telly basically calling her a thief... presenter doing his best in an awkward situation.

Conflicting arguments and of course the falang missunderstood the whole situation .. just why the lady is offering to give the guy back 500k is strange as she is also saying he gave her only 300k ....and was it a gift or a loan or deposit fir a narrage .... . im smelling a rat !!!!

I used to go to Ban Dung often when the late great Eddie was alive ( miss the old fooker still) .. i recall his bar , a bus shelter and lots of hill billiy types as KP aludes too .. some even wore dungerees n one wellington boot .

Good move not to settle ther KP .. once visited mentalky scared for life

Wife and I went back to Udon for her older sisters wedding. Small affair, just friends and family. One of brides friends asked me how she could "catch a farang" for herself. Told her one way would be to learn English, she'd already beat out 95% of her comptetition, but she didn't seem interested in that lol. Pure laziness, they'd rather pretend they can online and use Google Translate.

I met my Issan Wife while visiting a Thai friend in Bangkok whom I'd met in America when he was in College. He told me join a website called ThaiFriendly, we moved in together in Bangkok, and then Udon Thani.

Her family is good to me. No one has ever demanded anything of me. My wifes extended(aunts, uncles cousins) HAS tried to get money from me, but my inlaws chase em away and I never hear about it until I realize certain people aren't at the next family party lol.

Yes, i paid Sin Sod, but it was dropped right back in our Plate by Mom. So wife got some Gold and we got cash to help offset the party haha.

I got lucky, not everyone does. I've heard some horror stories about Thailand, and especially the Philippines. We met and get along with our shared passion of food and traveling. And we have a son and now a daughter on the way, wouldn't change it for the world. All her investment was to take a 4 year English Degree in a Govt School and pure luck 3 weeks after she moved to Bangkok.
