Doug, do you provide full coverage insurance as part of the rental fee?

Also, can you list the sizes of the bikes in your fleet? I'm interested in renting one in the 150 to 200cc range, Honda would be fine.

NO, The bikes are not the same as the cars, I am sorry but I am not aware of any full insurance available for motorcycles in Thailand, All of the bikes insurances cover 3rd party which is required by law.

For a full list of available bikes for rent please look at the bottom of the home page at www.lekcarrentaludonthani.com

We have a brand New out of showroom Honda Phantom 200 cc and many more bikes are arriving very shortly,

regards

Doug :D

Yep it is very hard to get good insurance on a bike. A problem gtrider is trying to work on now. What they are running into is comprehensive coverage but limitied on to 1/3 of the value of the bike. The problem is the insurance company does not take into consideration the cost of import here, which can add as much as 200% to the cost.

If you are lucky enough to find it is very expensive.

Ok a friend rented the Honda 750, we had it two days 800 Klms, through mountains and at times heavy rains. The bike performed perfectly, no problems at all. Got nothing but good to say

Looked at the website today and noticed the two biggest bikes, 600 Stead and 750 shadow have been removed. Well, the photos have been removed at least. I do hope all is well, (no accidents). I guess I can make do with a 400 Stead.

Apologies to those of you who dont like reading posts on motorbikes.
Naaahh. Only joking, you guys dont know what your missing. ;)
