Awesome! That was the opener for the three song set on our first ever public airing as a 4-piece band at a talent contest at New Pitsligo British Legion in 1973. The others were Badfinger's "No Matter What" and "All Right Now" by Free.
We won and went onto the local weekend pub lounge and dance hall circuit as 'Captain Kirk & the real McCoy'. We were destined for greatness when the lead guitarist broke up with his girlfriend who was quicky snapped up by the rhythm guitarist (and shortly that after by the drummer). Not wishing to stir any porridge, I quit.
