Decaying Flesh as a Food Option
I was hoping to meet two of our members while in Nong Khai. One was Texpat, the master of the understatement and chief antagonist of those who criticise the U.S.A. The other was the grossly overweight tuk-tuk driver who is the chief athletic supporter of the Evertons. Alas, I did not run into Giggles or 747. But, I did visit a noodles restaurant in which 'decaying flesh' was on the menu. I passed.

Decaying Flesh.....like this:

เนื้อเปื่อย = technically 'decayed meat' but I think it's really just beef that's been cooked til it falls off the bone. I've eaten it....not my kind of beef, but not rotten, either

Thanks, Parrot. I didn't see it, but if it is like I saw in the video, I've eaten decaying flesh quite a few times. The worst food I've eaten is raw beef. The taste was fine; however, a few hours later I suffered the most painful cramps ever.

Yes, something like that, and a few baht too.
