Just checked the TMD 10 day UDON weather and seems starting today/tomorrow some welcome news that sub 20 degree (17-19) overnight / early morning lows are gonna be back with us... still a bit toasty with day time highs 30 to 33 but a more comfortable drippin butty breakfast on the veranda are great to kick start the day.

I think its safe to say the fur lined jock strap and SUFC beannie can now to retired for this year.. on the downside its Valaentines day and many more sleeveless vest and camel short wearing types out n about showing off their purple veined appendages ,mangled feet and sunburnt baldy heed scaring the kids.

Lots of Popeye n Olives out tonight !!

Saw a proper Olive Oil at The Meeting Point on my mid-afternoon drive-by yesterday. Tall and very pale...didn't look like your usual meat & two veg purveyor either but I do have a wobbly eye.

Back on topic...pissing down in Bangkok earlier today but nice and sunny here in Saigon.

Indeed it was. Sky this morning in Bangkok was a lovely shade of black. Stopped raining in the early afternoon but stayed completely overcast all day.

I refer the RHGP to my post on the batty thread n the big lizard thing ..indeed summer storms n torrential rain in Bangers .. flooding and chaotic for commuters , a 20 min trip taking 2 hours according to my sauces.

Glorious in Udon ...... but we deserve it , after all QUOTE some Bangkokians ..isnt Udon the place where expats get off the bus to to die.

So the possibility of some amazing lights in the sky this evening ... i shall reposition my telescope forthwith it has been fixed on the moons orbit as im currently studying that.

For those members who didnt go to school (* NK Alan) and unlike my self who are not keen science buffs therfore dont know what a solar storm is
