Night Market Get Together

The 1st Saturday of the month of September is this Saturday.
In which case it means it must be time for the Udonmap monthly meeting !

Many of the members like to meet up at the Night market near the big TV screen (from about 7pm onwards) and later those with a little more stamina like to sample a few of the other venues that Udon has to offer

I envisage a quick Leo at the night market, followed by the Pool competition in Mojo's and then somewhere a little more upbeat after that.

Look at the menu under Salads and Vegetables.
Phonetics is subjective. Some people say sara um and others say sara am.

I shall not be there for this gathering but if the next one is 6 October I will be there. Have a good time and say nice things about me to the beer girls.

I am sure that I can find something to do in Noosa, Australia on a Saturday night.

Had a sampling last night off the new menu and have to say it was aroy mak mak. Can't wait for tonight to try something else

another nice night, and another full house. the regulars list is now getting longer, myself, Val, Stan, Cliff, Rito, Paul, Ralph seem to be permanent fixtures. Val's friend Raymond back for a visit, along with Bill/udonexpat, Jay/mooban, Tom/aku, Scott/jetdoc, and of course, the lovely better halves of this motley crew, and a sprinkling of little ones about, making for nice evening. Don't know about venturing on, once settled, i'm there. hope i didn't leave anyone out.

Doi/Carrot vendor/Ree's sister, and Note, mixed drink vendor would like to express thier gratitude and thank you for your patronage, hope all was good, although a bit slow at times, them limes for margaritas need time to grow and be fresh squeezed

. many ideas to tweak them one way or another. suggestions always welcomed.

all in all, another very nice night. awaiting next month.

Yep Yep another full house it was....the beer and margarita's were flowing. The better halves ended up on another table as the men took up the space at their table. The food was great, myself I had the Pha Nang Kung and enjoyed every bit of it. The biggest surprise of the nite for me was the TW let take the motorcycle to the nite market

All in all it was a great nite and IMO it was another success. LA, give my thanks and compliments to Doi and Ree. Ree was running around all nite serving food and beer, helping her sister....great job Ree. Until the next meeting you all have a wonderful stay in Thailand and Udon Thani.

A margarita for 69 baht was a pleasant surprise, also.

Yes...allow me to say I too had a great time Saturday at Center Point....nice bunch of guys and was just curious...how was the margarita guys ?....I think LA has a hearing lost as he only blinked as I asked him several times...maybe it was...consumption...hmmm..maybe next month with try them. Anyway I had a great time and enjoyed everyone.
