Did nobody tell her she was only supposed to hang around for about 44 days?

She had the double whammy of getting her new referendum claims kicked out of court and no support in Westminster for her asinine gender self-declaration laws that allowed sending a "transitioning" transgender rapist to a woman's prison.

Hopefully the start of the end of this separatist nonsense. Blackford lost his Westminster job and Sturgeon said at the time he was destined for better things. Good to see he hasn't even made the new leader short list. Maybe they'll start their own Scottish Liberation Organisation?

However, with Scottish Labour reviled and the Scottish Conservatives further out in the wilderness than Rockall, I see the SNP muddling along with their puffed up chests and crying "freedummmm" till they're blue in the face (sic).

The Kuenssberg show is mooting the idea that Sturgeon leaving gives Starmer an opportunity to claw back Scottish Labour seats in a forthcoming general election possibly giving him 25 seats and a majority in Westminster. This was also discussed last year.

What's you view on that based upon what you said about corruption above?

Drop some meaty campaign promises north of Hadrian's to better one's chance of forming a majority government in Westminster? Baubles and gewgaws?

Despite the departure of the First Minister, there's a lot of canny Scottish voters who are well familiar with the mealy-mouthed platitudes of the London-centric Labour (and Conservatives).

Starmer should focus on the low hanging fruit of the recently lost English "red wall" rather than the crumbling Scottish edifice they, like the Tories, have chosen to ignore for decades and the SNP have already built their big, braw hoose on.

Ok
I edited to include the Conservatives abrogation of any meaningful and enduring consideration for their provinces. Witness the new-found eagerness of Sunak to suck the DUP's cock again. Former Tory PM May gave them a billion quid blowjob to get a working majority. The Tories currently have a majority but if they lose their back benchers, they'll need those duplicitous boggers onside again.

Right.

I'll probably be spending most of this evening trying to get that image out of my head.
