In actual fact tomorrow does not exist only in language, as when you get to what you call tomorrow it is in fact TODAY< therefore it is just a word that expresses a time in the future.
HISTORICALLY not one day in the calendar is called tomorrow or for that matter today .

MORE FACTS REGARDING GREENLAND

1) Three-quarters of Greenland is covered by the only permanent ice sheet outside of Antarctica. With a population of 56,081 (2020) it is the least densely populated region in the world.

2) Greenland has been inhabited at intervals over at least the last 4,500 years by Arctic peoples whose forebears migrated there from what is now Canada.

3) At 70%, Greenland has one of the highest shares of renewable energy in the world, mostly coming from hydropower

Would the first day of the week be Sunday (as per most calendars) or Monday (as the day after the weekend/Bible, God rested on the Sunday the seventh day) :-k

I was careful to say 'of the next week', that is the next 7 days, if I said next week, without the definitive article, it would mean starting Monday

So (legally) if I say Ill do something "next week" does that mean I'll do it after the next Sunday (or Monday) or I'll do it within 7 days of whatever day we are on?

Cant remember seeing a calendar that had Monday as the first day for over 30 years, and then it was only things like the "Men from Uncle 1965 calendar"

Whether the Gregorian calendar shows Sunday or Monday as the first day of the week depends on where you live. Most countries start the week on Monday, but most people start on Sunday:

67 countries and over 4 billion people start the week on Sunday
160 countries and roughly 3.3 billion people start on Monday
In terms of population, it is almost 50/50: Half the world’s population begins on Sunday

AND a couple of countries start on a Saturday

Coke sells 1.8 billion units a day of 8oz servings
If they were to get 1 cent per unit more that is a profit of $1.8 million per day

The first Coke was red wine mixed with cocaine
Pemberton’s inspiration for the drink was a popular concoction called Vin Mariani, invented in France. It was a mixture of Bordeaux red wine and cocaine. This poster pictured here, from 1895, shows how it was marketed as a tonic that "fortifies and refreshes the body and brain". However, the US, especially the Deep South, was in the midst of an anti-alcohol movement. This gave Pemberton the idea of creating a drink for those who were abstinent.

Coca-Cola was the first Olympic sponsor
Never one to miss an advertising opportunity, Coca-Cola was the first-ever Olympic sponsor, beginning its sponsorship at the Summer Games hosted in Amsterdam in 1928.

Troops were sent Coca-Cola as a matter of great importance
During the Second World War, one of the Coca-Cola leaders Robert Woodruff declared servicemen and women should be able to get a bottle of Coca-Cola for 5 cents wherever they were in the world, no matter what it cost the company. More than five billion bottles of Coke were distributed to US troops. Portable soda fountains were even flown into remote areas in the South Pacific.

Had a nice revisit to BKK Hospital today. 8 weeks ago I got by Pension Life Certificate signed by a doctor who had no idea who I was but still signed the form (on payment of B200). Mrs Statts sent the authorised form back to pension office in pre addressed envelope (but didnt get a receipt). Needless to say somewhere between Thai Post and Royal Mail they have managed to lose said envelope. Having been contacted to say they hadnt got the form, I had no option but to repeat the process today. Everything the same until it came to pay desk, where they produced an invoice for B550. Now i've been through this process about 10 times at BKK Hosp and it has increased from B100 to B200 over the years (I know there is high inflation worldwide but over 150% in 8 weeks?) Having queried the cost it was cause for about 5 girls and 1 guy to all huddle round and discuss the problem before eventually coming up with a new bill for B300. I still feel i'm being ripped off, but after wasting an extra 15 mins I couldn't be bothered to argue any more. Needless to say when you are being "stung" let them know you are on to them, dont just pay whatever they ask for.
Not sure how the scam works on an electric invoice producer and till, but if they can easily (2 mins) change a bill from B550 to one of B300, I'm sure it could have just as easily been changed to B200 later [-X

Sorry to hear this Stat. I use AEK and find them more than reasonable ditto Wing23.

My partner had a detached retina and had laser treatment last week, I would not even consider Bangkok Hospital. Had surgery done at Udon as they have a big ophthalmology clinic, total cost 17000 but covered by insurance.
