Chubby Checker copied this 1959 song written and sung by Hank Ballard. Not only are the lyrics and notes the same, Chubby copies Hank's voice too. The song is 'The Twist' and it goes like this,
We make our world significant by the courage of our questions and by the depths of our answers.

If we are talking favorites than has to be Metalica ... tracks too numerous to mention JUST ONE but just a brilliant band.

I loved the Twist - it's probably the only dance I have ever been able to do without embarrassing myself, and the poor girl who may have been unlucky enough to be proximate at the time. .Laan Yaa Mo wrote: ↑June 16, 2023, 9:56 amChubby Checker copied this 1959 song written and sung by Hank Ballard. Master bluesman and guitar player, John Lee Hooker, performing 'Boom, Boom' and 'I'll Never Get Out of These Blues Alive'.
Great stuff. I heard him perform in Toronto's Yorkville in the mid-'60.
