Good questions, and ones that I'm sure Chief Inspector Morse would raise.Brian Davis wrote: ↑May 4, 2023, 12:43 pmMaybe someone can enlighten me, because there's something I don't 'get'. Ok, so the facts aren't entirely clear over the number of victims and the period involved, but let's say quite a few persons and years. But can I assume that autopsies take place automatically for every death, or only in cases of strange, suspicious circumstances? Cyanide in the victims' bodies should, therefore, have been highglighted and I imagine is a pretty rare occurence in 'cause of death'. So, why has it taken so long to find this woman? Even if the deaths were at different locations, a search on a national database should have had bells ringing if 'cyanide' or 'aquaintances' was inputted.

This is true, and what about the sister who works in a pharmacy? Could she be involved?tamada wrote: ↑May 6, 2023, 11:57 amAnd despite this, and knowingly receiving and trading stolen goods in the form of the car of the former boyfriend that his ex-wife murdered and being unable to convince his ex-wife to confess, the ex-husband STILL gets bailed because "there's no evidence to link him to the murders"?Laan Yaa Mo wrote: ↑May 6, 2023, 7:38 amHow nice. It seems that the alleged killer paid off her husband's debts, which totaled three million baht.

Hakparn's murder investigation is chock full of circumstantial evidence that should be good enough to put her away but not the former cop who still lived with her "for the children"?
I was surprised the ex-husband got bail so easily and for the reason cited.

I think you are expecting a bit too much there. They have only just managed to get the police computer to talk to the Driving offences computer

Wasn't there an "imminent" prosecution due last week?

You might as well be talking about the imminent handover of the caretaker government to the winning coalition.

Re: Pregnant Thai Serial Killer
I get your drift but of late, most every high -profile crime gets redirected to Chief Constable Hakparn's in-tray and after some rote statements citing progress, it vanishes. Maybe the alleged electoral malfeasance will handily bypass the EC, NACC and CC and go straight to "Big Joke's" office?Laan Yaa Mo wrote: ↑June 20, 2023, 6:28 amYou might as well be talking about the imminent handover of the caretaker government to the winning coalition.

Re: Pregnant Thai Serial Killer
Last i read on this ..Ms cyanide will have the baby in prison and it will stay with her for the first year or so before going to a family member or taken into care.. very sad indeed, no doubt she wont be short of a babysitter whilst in jail.
As commented by Tam .. its common here for todays huge news cases that after the initial media frenzy and investigation the story just drifts off with updates few n far between .. Tangmo boat death and Joe Ferrari being other recent examples.
