Quick vid outlining the locations of all in the NLN grounds Scunny fans will be visiting from the shortest trip Farsley to the longest Hereford...

OBVIOUSLY the info re mileage etc wont effect the thousands of Iron fans based in Thailand including even one horse towns like Nong Khai and Ban Dung where die hard supporters will be able to use I player for the games via the club website at just 10 quid per game.

Rumoured to be more signings due and pre season fixtures commencing later this week.

I've played and managed at Farsleys ground. Just shows the depths your boys are plumbing.

If it makes you feel better DM, the first game that I saw LUFC play outside of the old 1st division was at Grimsby in 1982. It was a real craphole. Just googled it and it seems the "fishy" boys were still talking about it 30 years later.

I read the fishy forum samster ... bearing in mind the local rivalry there is a thread dedicated to Scunny at some 250 pages long

Yep my beloved club have sunk to a very low point but i am optimistic better times are ahead, regardless i shall remain claret n blue all way through where ever they play.
i do know many of the lads whom im still in contact with are looking forward to what will be a very strange season visiting new obscure places with odd ball grounds ...btw at 9088 capacity i believe Glanford park is the NLN biggest ground and looking at season ticket sales Scunny should be getting anywhere from 3 to 5000 at home and regularly taking 1500 away.

Scunthorpe beware!!! The Forest Green Rovers have a new manager and they are coming after you. Their high-touted leader from the Evertons only sparked the Rovers to one victory last season:

'Forest Green Rovers have appointed Hannah Dingley as caretaker head coach, making her the first woman to take charge of a professional men’s team in English football.

The club’s academy coach took training yesterday after the departure of head coach Duncan Ferguson. She will take the reins for the Sky Bet League Two club’s friendly against Melksham Town this evening.

“I’m really excited for this next step of my career, Dingley, 39, said last night. “Pre-season has just begun, and the full season kicks off very soon. It’s an exciting time in football.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to step up and lead such a progressive and forward-thinking club.”

Former Everton striker and coach Ferguson took charge of Forest Green last January when they were bottom of League One and could not prevent relegation, winning one of 18 games.'

and

WRONG AGAIN dumbo ... Humberside International Airport is approx 15 miles outside of Scunthorpe and falls within the towns control.

I cannot confirm how many SUFC fixtures i shall be attending until the list is announced in approx 3 hours from now.
