Recent experience re an AC issue in my Toyota Revo...sort of ties in with the current dash removal thread on UM home page.
A problem arose with my AC .. everything working fine fan,com,gassed up, AC hoses ice cold .... the exception being the setting switch for the temp seemed to be stuck on way too warm.
Took it to Poj AC n Battery shop on the KK HW and he found the problem very quickly that being the rotating flaps/cogs that control the hot air / cold air entering the truck located behind the dash were stuck in a position allowing mostly all warm air in side.
Mr Poj gave me advice on my options..
Go to Toyota and fit the whole new temperature control system circa 10 -15k , The dealer will not sell these units to independent businesses thus have to go the Toyota to fix.

If i dont use the heater which i dont and never have he could bypass it leaving the AC working 100% correctly but on the off chance of a chilly frosty snowy morning i would not have the heater to de ice the truck.
Suffice to say he bypassed the heater by changing a couple of hoses under the bonnet and bish bosh bingo fixed and tested everything working great its just a case of the AC is either on or off and only cold air is controlled by the temp switch and thermostat.
This work plus a full service and clean of AC system 800 bt .. he even stuck a camera inside the AC unit to see how dirty it was this reminded me of a similar event involving my anus but thats another story !!
Be prepared not much English though one of the young lads working there has a dad from Wales.
Easy to find on the KK highway going out of udon past the big VT place , past Nissan on the left and Poj is 100m after Nissan on the same side .. its dead opposite the UDTEL Hotel which is on the HW heading into Udon.
Here s the guys details ..well worth a visit if have any issues re vehicle AC , Electrics etc and for sure they can remove n replace dashes
