Blackburn and Accrington both took a bath last weekend.

So did Burnley but DILLIGAF

Crazy game Alan.. i watched it on live stream

Even tho toppa the league Scunny were really crap firstly.
Shocking ref and thats agreed across the fan spectrum of both clubs

2 penalties one given by the linesman for what is a mystery , the other pen taken in monsoon conditions .
Yellow cards like confetti
a straight red card and many more ignored
game started in intense sun n heat but second half the area was hit by a freak storm mega rain thunder lightening and strong winds , pitch flooded but the ref played on.
with the score at 2-1 and with 5 minutes of the 12 minutes of added time pitch was totally unplayable ref blew whistle .. everyone thinking it was full time but nope he abandoned the game in time added on.. crazy scenes/

Ref should of halted the game and come back out to finish the last 6 mins or abandoned it way way sooner at 1-1.

Buxton appealing the abandonment obviously and its down to the NL panel to decide wtf to do... im guessing result will stand and not replayed but who knows...

The Buxton players were the worst time wasters ever which added to the time added on now complaining excessive added time

at 96 mins it goes down as the latest abandonment time wise in FL history..

Well thats a result .. very surprising but the NL Panel have confirmed the Scunny v Buxton abandoned game due to feak weather conditions must be replayed in full even though the pathetic ref didnt call it until the 95th minute ..so the shambles last Saturday did not happen.

Buxton not happy

Scunny fans very happy :D

Sad times indeed at my beloved Scunny United ... 2 more fixtures and its looking like certain Administration and liquidation after the new owner turns out to be a convicted fraudster with a conviction and 15 cases against him in several different names ..amazing he passed the FA fit n proper checks only for his past to catch up with him ..now hes pulled funding and SUFC up for sale and loosing the right to play at Glanford park after the fixture on 7th October. Administrators moving in next month even if a ground share with Gainsboro happens its only a matter of time until the club folds.

Ive been a fan since 1980 .. before moving to Asia did home and away without a missed game for 3 consecutive seasons and i have many great memories that will stay with me for ever ...sadly the town will loose it club ..once 5th in the Championship after paying Newcastle utd and winning 1-0 but for me its the local fans and their kids and the generations to come who will not have the club to follow.

RIP SUFC

Very sad news indeed. You had a good run, and maybe fate will soon be kind to you and Scunthorpe again. The world has suffered a loss.

I was thinking why don't they hit up the Indian owners of the steelworks for a 'save our footie' bit of good community spirit...then I read that Tata sold it to a bunch of city asset strippers who have more insolvency in their investments than cash. I bet they're Tories too.

Still hoping something can be done to save the club Tam ..

Just how this guy Hilton was allowed to buy the club is head shaking .. what happened to the FA checks etc .. hes got a very checkered past and served jail time... turns out he was /is a crook , chancer and his actions have destroyed the club and the lives of thousands of fans.

Shambolic situation. I dont know all the facts but, as you say, the FA are supposed to conduct fit and proper tests on club owners which extends to National League so, questions need to be asked.

I hope it works out for the Iron's fans

Dunno about being the number one fan is Asia as there are thousands and in reply to your question Yes , donated twice actually ..one personal donation and another jointly with my two bizz colleagues in Bkk who are Norwich city and Wes Ham fans.

41,194 Pounds collected in the first full day since the GFM page went up. =D> =D>

Scunny play Buxton today in the reply of the the game that was abandoned recently... be interesting to see what the attendance is and the atmosphere being so close to folding, in reality only this and one more game at Glanford park before the administrators move in..
