Beeb are reporting that LUFC, Leicester and Burnley have written to Evertons potential new owners saying that they will be suing for £300m if they are found guilty of breaching EPL spending rules.

And so they should if Everton are found guilty of breaking the rules and thus were not relegated.

Tam trying to bring some adult argument to the thread. No sour grapes though

I remember posting when we were relegated that it was Leicester not us that I feel sorry for. We finished 19th so would have been relegated anyway.

Everyone in football knows Everton cheated. Its just whether the EPL has the balls to follow through with it which, if the report is correct would put them in the same position as Scunny........dont think they'd generate quite the same level of sympathy though.

The EPL is an unregulated, privately-owned device of iniquitous corruption solely created to make great gobs of money for certain obscenely rich people at the expense of the grass roots fan base. If they had any intention of enforcing the FFP rules and fining Everton, it would have happened by now. However, it would open a can of worms and pish in a lot of people's cornflakes at the old boys club so don't hold your breath (just play a blinder like the Foxes and get promoted).

Or try to re write the rules as it appears Klopp wants to do demanding a reply of the Spurs Liverpool game cos of the dodgy VAR call ... having just listened to the audio of the incident it clearly was a clusterfook of huge proportions with the VAR guy upstairs clearly saying the player was ONSIDE but the ref giving him offside.

JUST PROVES VAR IS TOTAL GASH ..THE GAME OPERATED FOR YEARS WITHOUT IT ...IT SHOULD BE BINNED except for goal line tech.

Hope to see the likes of Leciester ,Leeds and one day SCUNTHORPE back in the EPL ..the league needs loyal passionate fans like they have following them.

Everywhere you hear and read about it, from pundits to the EPL, FA and UEFA talking heads, they all say VAR is here to stay. The fans don't like it one bit but since when have the fans been considered of any value beyond over-priced replica shirt sales and hundreds of quid for a ticket? *

VAR is part of the corruption.

* Clue: When was idea of the EPL first dreamed up?
