Most of you probably know this already:
Bill Edgar’s deep dive: Why Merseyside produces the dullest derbies

nlike in most sports, football matches contain the real possibility of featuring no scoring at all. Reliable phrases are on standby: a dull 0-0 is often a “bore draw”; one with entertainment can be “goalless but not soulless”; one packed with controversy can be “much ado about nothing-nothing”. Here is a brief history of 0-0s.

Everton at home to Liverpool has been the most common fixture for 0-0s in the Football League — and the second-most is Liverpool at home to Everton. The teams have been goalless in 20 of their 104 league meetings at Goodison Park and in 16 out of 104 at Anfield. Incidentally, the 20 cases of Everton 0 Liverpool 0 makes it the most frequent of all League scorelines; next is Arsenal 1 Liverpool 1 (17).

And in football news,
the Toffees play the Cherries at 3pm.
Can the Blues get a win at Goodison?

I'd rather see the Tranmere Rovers beat the Evertons three zip than have to endure a painful dull match between Liverpool and the Evertons.

I saw the first half of a match on the big screen this evening. At the break it was Utilika (red) 0 and AIA (light brown or grey) 0. There were a few scoring opportunities by both sides so I knew the Evertons were not playing.

In results order.

Yawn...(How's Bayern doing these days?)

Has Poch found his mojo? Oh, wait... Burnley.

Cherries find themselves well pipped. Who was the other team again?

Bladeless? In London? Impossible!

The Old Trafford squeaky (Dutch) bum prevails.

Yawn... (how's Galatasaray doing these days?)

I'm glad I missed that part. It would have led to a heave and a ho and there goes my dinner. Why do the Evertons always seem to play the weak teams from the First Division. When are the Evertons going to get penalised for cheating?
