Water Feature

Post by Pro V1 » October 14, 2023, 10:54 am

I am looking to purchase a water fountain for the garden. I don’t really want Thai-style one as I prefer a more modern aesthetic…below are a couple of examples I have in mind. Anyone know of outlets in Udon or further afield retailing fountains/water features?

Many thanks to TheSportsBar for the Lazada advice…may try that route if I can’t locate a local supplier.

Anyone know of any Udon outlets selling large, modern type garden water features?

HI Mate, assume you've tried the place at thai Watsadu and nothing matching your needs?

Admittedly his stuff always used to be more to the thai taste like the god awful miniature trevi fountain we have in the front garden, and flintstones esque creation in the rear garden! (both chosen by her indoors ;) )

Found a great place for water features and garden furniture. Nong Khai road, driving north 1 km past International School.

Oh look! Mosquito farms!!!

Make sure it's always on and flowing. Otherwise make sure it's drained while not in use.

Yes, indeed they do. Not sure if the OP plans on keeping fish in his "water feature" though.

Do tadpoles eat mosquito larvae?

| Yes! Once tadpoles reach about six weeks of age or they’ve developed legs, they become carnivores and will eat mosquito larvae and mosquito eggs.

If the water feature has slabs wall so no part of the water is less than 30cm, mosquitoes cannot anchor their larva and will not breed in that water.

Yes, but eventually they become frogs and those legs become strong enough for them to jump out of the moobahn water feature and catch a bus to to bright lights of the city before Mrs tam catches barbecues them. By that time, the mosquito larvae have already hatched.
