The numbers speak for themselves, Alex.

10,000 Ukrainian civilians in a country 1500 times the size of Gaza killed by Russian aggression in 20 months.

10,000 Gazan civilians killed by Israeli aggression in 1 month.

The comparison is not perfect, but draw whatever conclusion you feel comfortable with.
sPratty
How does the numbers speak for themselves?
Virtually every male and great numbers of female civilians aged between 18 and 60 have been mobilised in defense of the Ukraine homeland and have been killed defending their lands, some estimates are around 250 thousand.
Hamas would have the more biased, or the more gullible, into believing that there have been 10 thousand civilian casualties in Gaza 90% of whom are women and children (some really lucky men running about in Gaza)
Have you also noticed (or choose to ignore) that Hamas do not publish numbers of their terrorist fighters killed, just probably lump them into the totals of women and children. Some of the claims made by Hamas would have made Herr Gobbels jealous.

Gaza death toll tops 10,000; UN calls it a children's graveyard

GAZA, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Gaza is becoming a "graveyard for children", U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres said on Monday, amplifying demands for a ceasefire in the enclave, where Palestinian health authorities said the death toll from Israeli strikes had exceeded 10,000.
https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-ea ... 023-11-06/
My emphasis - and I don't see Hamas mentioned.

That number killed (even if not completely accurate), together with large bombed out areas in Gaza City and refugee camps, is by any definition, aggression.

The Palestinian Health Authorities are a Hamas Government Department, do you really believe they are not part of the terrorist propaganda machine? The UN especially Guterres is well known for its pro Hamas, anti-Israeli rhetoric so why should anyone take any notice of anything they repeat, especially Hamas propaganda lies.

Pardon me for stating what is the obvious, all the mutterings and those in favour of whatever action whichever side they support.
Years ago TWO ideas were floated accepted by the world and the Israelis, rejected by the then Palestinians ( I believe Fatah ).

This incident started with HAMAS that kindly group of Muslim Terrorists who in advertently sent hundreds of missiles over the border, invaded and the proceeded to kill maim and exterminate families sitting in their houses and hundreds lof teenagers having a party.

While I do not agree with the Israeli response on it length, I agree with the intended actions .

Israel announced that thye will take over security for Gaza after this military action is finished.......
Any announcement whether they are going to encourage the establishment and growth of Israeli settlements within Gaza - as they have done in the West Bank and East Jerusalem? ;)
Israel's idea of security in the West Bank - turn a blind eye to settler violence against the resident Palestinians.
Settlers are causing mayhem in the West Bank

Palestinians are close to rebelling

VIOLENCE PERPETRATED by Jewish settlers in the Palestinians’ West Bank has risen sharply since October 7th. The Israeli army and the settlers have, in total, killed at least 155 Palestinians in the territory, the core of a would-be Palestinian state, since Hamas committed its atrocities against Israel. This death toll is a fraction of the number killed by Israel’s bombardment of Gaza in the same period. But it is rising dangerously fast. The occupied West Bank is getting closer to boiling over..........

Israeli settlers. Radical opportunist extremists of a different cloth. An unfortunate minority that ascribe to the same soul-destroying hatred attributed to Hamas.

A great question, FDK.

But I can't imagine we will ever get an answer from the Israeli government or IDF. Particularly where those confrontations involve something as violent as throwing stones.

In the meantime, do you reckon any of the ever encroaching settlers will be bought to justice? Been a pretty rare occurrence in the past decades.

No but as Israel was in reality set up as a result of the Holocaust and nothing else a sort of sop to a Religious group, then in short no answers, but most Moslems I know ( and I know quite a lot) have no problems with Jews`.

Much to simplistic an explanation KP. Ever heard of the Balfour Declaration Nov 2, 1917? Prior to WWII many thousands of Jewish people moved to Palestine. It didn't suddenly happen in 1948, it was already well under way decades before that.

Amazing
Just watched the early BBC news (9am their time). Macron calling for Israel to stop killing babies (yes, the same Macron who has no qualms about turning his Storm Troopers against his own people), film images of hospitals that 4 weeks ago were hours away from closing due to lack of fuel, with all the lights on. Weeping Willies now complaining about lack of contraceptives and women's sanitary products in Gaza. Outrage about Israeli tanks driving past a hospital (without opening fire). Basically the whole range of anti-semantic vitriol and repeated every hour by the supposedly impartial BBC.
The strangest thing is now the totally illegal invasion of a sovereign nation by Poo Tin does not warrant a single mention.

Because they are the lesser of the evils that now infest what used to be called journalism. The offence to mankind that your oft quoted ABC has become makes Tams favoured 'The National' nearly mandatory reading :-" :-" [-X Good to see your keeping your posting average up.
