The Telegraph understands that the Chancellor will recommit to tight spending plans in the Autumn Statement on Nov 22, which maps out his approach until 2029.

As a political term, Tory was an insult (derived from the Middle Irish word tóraidhe, modern Irish tóraí, meaning "outlaw", "robber", from the Irish word tóir, meaning "pursuit" since outlaws were "pursued men")

I thought being Vegan, not wearing a bra, buying an EV or shopping at Lidl's was a lifestyle choice. Not having a roof over your head comes from either botched social policies or lack of social policies that can be botched in the first place.

In other news, the Minister for Levelling it All, Lack of Housing and Community Death reckons that if you don't like Britain's traditional institutions or share the same values, the police could be coming along shortly to have a word with you.

After the meeting, he meekly claims it was just so he can be assured that the cops know what they're doing and how to do it.

Braverman for me is stating what 'most' people in the UK actually feel.
The pandering to Muslim demonstrations (on a very sacred day) and any counter demo being called 'EXTREME RIGHT WING' (BBC words not mine) just proves how the slightly less than Communist supposedly 'intelligencia' have turned a really decent Country into the absolute mess that the UK has become.

Will the present Home Secretary last until next week? Or Christmas? Or until the General Election? Will she be re-elected?

Back on topic, the lame duck Tory PM was simply AWESOME at PMQ's yesterday, claiming the Supreme Court's ruling that the sacked Braverman's "dream" of flying illegal immigrants to Rwanda is illegal was actually a win. All they need to do is make new laws to circumvent the existing ones. Even Starmer, the less than eloquent leader of the opposition, had a good day and had Rishi flapping hysterically with only the "but Labour" rhetoric as an answer.

More pathetic was the spleet-new Home Secretary James Cleverly not so cleverly tip-toeing repeatedly around member's questions drawing attention to the fact that changing the laws so that the UK is no longer beholden to ECHR rules, imperils the foundations of the Good Friday agreement.

Now, over to the Rt.Hon. Spokesman for Murdochmedia for the "trtuh".
