"and there's absolutely nothing Zionist about wearing the Star of David either". Jewish students would be set upon, harassed maybe assaulted by other students who saw what the dog teacher had shown them in class, a support of hamas.

Just to add a modicum of sanity to this latest beat-up:
It's understood the Department of Education has reminded staff of their obligations to remain politically neutral and that any teacher found to be in breach of the code of conduct would be subject to appropriate action.
The Department says it doesn’t endorse the activity of the Teachers For Palestine group.

What are they going to do if a lge group of dog teachers go ahead with this crap, sack em lol. Just like the dogs that protested with the kids the other day during school hours, nothing will happen to them. Minister Carr knows too well if she tries to come down hard on them what will happen. It's understood the Department of Education has reminded staff of their obligations to remain politically neutral and that any teacher found to be in breach of the code of conduct would be subject to appropriate action.

Meanwhile, back on subject.
Largely as a result of Federal intervention, Inflation figures released today see inflation dropping sharply from 5.6% to 4.9% on an annual basis. In December 2022 it was well over 8%, no matter how you look at the figures, Labor seems to have been stuffing the inflation Genie back in the bottle.

Just when the cost of living crisis couldn’t get any worse for the grocery shop, Australia’s most beloved food has reached an unbelievable new “sale” price.
It seems the cost of Vegemite has become the ultimate point of comparison for the current living crisis.

Just what we need, more ridiculous posts, perhaps instead of reading that economic power house, Seniors weekly, a few Google searches would reveal how poorly researched this post is. But let's do ridiculous.noosard wrote: ↑November 29, 2023, 11:35 amJust when the cost of living crisis couldn’t get any worse for the grocery shop, Australia’s most beloved food has reached an unbelievable new “sale” price.

The OECD will no doubt switch comparison between nations based on US dollars to cryptomite. Vegemite will now be mined virtually in banks of rack mounted blade processing farms and traded on the world stage.
Stop press, latest news, it's only expensive in Woolworths at, 9.40. At Aldi it is 6.75. The OECD economists are shattered. 55.

Nice deflection
Re: Easy pop shots at OZ labor Govt.
And this from a labor Govt. in Sth Australia. Look no further than the South Australian Labor government which has just legislated to delete Anzac Day from the official Holidays Act 1910.
The Malinauskas Labor government has repealed the Holidays Act 1910, replaced it with the Public Holidays Bill 2023, removed the name Anzac Day and replaced it with ‘25 April’ a day "fixed as a public holiday".
What a kick in the guts for the Anzacs and those after in the armed forces. Bloody insensitive labor Govts.

Re: Easy pop shots at OZ labor Govt.
And where or why isnt the albo Govt. butting in and rebuking this. Another horrible mistake by the labor Govt. albo and his team of misfits are clearly not up to the job of protecting Australia and its customs. Home Affairs minister oneeel, is out of her depth and should resign.
Re: Easy pop shots at OZ labor Govt.
Only reference I can find on this is a commentary from an extreme right wing failed pollie in Sky. Nothing on government websites. Frankly, I have mixed feelings about the naming. All of the original Anzac are long dead, not many WWII vets left either. I like the traditional name, but would not object to it being renamed Veterans Day to show respect for veteran's from all wars.Sport wrote: ↑November 30, 2023, 9:44 amAnd this from a labor Govt. in Sth Australia. I note SA government this year increased funding for commemorative activities and received plaudits from the RSL.

My my Sport, a real red pill day for you. A change in a State law over which a Federal Minister has zero control should be grounds for the minister to resign?Sport wrote: ↑November 30, 2023, 12:13 pmAnd where or why isnt the albo Govt. butting in and rebuking this. Any precedents for this in the history of Australia.
Frankly, the entire things smells very much like a beat-up. I would like to see much more about this from other sources before sticking both feet in my gob.

Re: Easy pop shots at OZ labor Govt.
Great to see Whistles you watch Sky news, informative conservative reporting at its best, Sky brings the news first to you.
Maybe the lefty stations dont want to report on their mates.
Last time I checked Mr Malinauskas was the premier of Sth Oz a Govt in Australia. Aussies hold ANZAC Day sacred and dear , maybe new arrivals dont see it that way. I would like to see albo hold a referendum of removing ANZAC Day, even the Kiwis would come over in war canoes and storm Canberra performing the Haka. And Whistles you would be aware of this,'Under section 109 of the Australian Constitution, if a state parliament and the federal Parliament pass conflicting laws on the same subject, then the federal law overrides the state law. Section 122 of the Constitution allows the federal Parliament to override a territory law at any time.
I like the name 'ANZAC Day', that is my opinion, however if a call was made to call it Veterans Day and supported by a majority of Aussies, I would not be against it.
How about this one from the SA Govt today. On top of erasing Anzac Day, the SA labor party has deleted all traces of Christmas Day from the Holidays Act 1910, but somehow Easter has survived unscathed.
Thanks for reminding me of the pills, better throw down a few.
