A New Year message for immigrants

Post by tamada » January 1, 2024, 11:50 am

Tens of thousands of revellers started 2024 with a bang as fireworks and drones lit up the sky over London and told the world the city is “A Place for Everyone”.

(unless you arrived in a dinghy, then Rwanda is the place for you)

Pretty sure Sadiq Khans message left out 'as long as your not white, heterosexual, agree that your gender is the same as on your birth certificate and did not vote for any party apart from Liebour' Maybe just an oversight. Wonder how he is going to justify the pollution caused by the biggest firework display in Europe.
Happy New Year all.

Funny how the Tory Ministers and MP's that either visit the place or otherwise tout Rwanda as the solution to UK's immigration problem are "ethnically diverse" whereas the "pure white" Ministers and MP's either avoid the place like the plague or don't say a dicky bird.

Happy Hogmanay Alex and welcome to the minorities club.

Ah Tam
Can always be depended on you for a deflection.
Would be interesting to find out what Hindsight Starmer's solution to the illegal invader's problems would be if the UK has a brain fart and allows the person that 4 years ago told us Steptoe and Abbott were the perfect team to lead the UK to get near power.
Surprised that you as a Jock would say "Happy Hogmanay" perhaps just a smart ass comment as usual.
Perfectly happy to be in my minority club, its full of intelligent people.

If Rishi Sunak can change his stance when in 2022 he said Dominic Cummings will have “absolutely nothing to do with any government that I am privileged to lead” but then hold two meetings with Johnson's erstwhile strategist to discuss election advisory options less than a year later, then why is Keir Starmer to be denied having a 4-year retrospective on his opinion of his abysmal predecessors?

Having a couple of meetings with someone in an advisory role is not anywhere near as bad as actively supporting absolute lunatics in the quest for leading the UK.
The Telegraph article is quite revealing, "I have faced life and death decisions", no you haven't, you were a lawyer, your paid to lie and nothing happens to you if you lose.
“I’ve put expense-cheat politicians in jail before and I didn’t care if they were Labour or Tory. Nobody will be above the law in a Britain I lead.”
Says the man who refused to prosecute the Asian Rape Gangs when he was DPP and accepted a Knighthood for it. Would be interesting to see who was jailed for expense cheating by this reformed bastion of the new Liebour Party.

I never mentioned dates so why you refer to 2004 is only something your wee imagination can answer.
How ever from the right hand column "Keir Starmer became head of the Crown Prosecution Service in 2008. Although he later admitted that victims of grooming gangs had faced a “lack of understanding”
I would put it to you that these are typical Lawyers weasel words while trying to deny any wrong doing is an admittance of gross negligence to either prosecute, place on remand or take any positive actions against the Asian Rape gangs who were allowed to continue to prey on children and young girls.

I put it to you that you don't have any evidence that Starmer
....refused to prosecute the Asian Rape Gangs when he was DPP...
so have come up with a whole lot of weasel words of your own, to obfuscate.

So no evidence, just opinion.

And more obfuscation.

Eh, dates, specific cases, statements from senior police officers, what more do you need?
Stop being an ostrich.

Dates, specific cases, and statements from senior police officers which show that
..... (Starmer) refused to prosecute the Asian Rape Gangs when he was DPP...
Not a polemic from a woman who apparently doesn't know the difference between the Manchester and London Offices of the UK DPP.

Stop being an obfuscater.

So, you are trying to convince us that the 'boss' of the Manchester CPS office took it upon himself, without reference to his boss, Hindsight Starmer (the Director) to just ignore these horrendous accusations.
Your responses are becoming progressively more pathetic each time.

Seems such a simple thing to do, Alex - produce some/any credible evidence for your scandalous claim that Keir Starmer, while he was DDP
...... refused to prosecute the Asian Rape Gangs .....
What's holding you back, for goodness’ sake?

You really are thick.
Its in black and white, he was in charge while his sub offices were presented with police evidence. Did they just ignore the accusations of such serious crimes off their own backs? Just what was his role as DPP? Not just Manchester but numerous city and regional offices just ignored evidence presented on numerous occasions without reference to their Boss?
How many of these renegades have been called to justify their individual actions?

Interesting part of the article.

After Sir Keir’s resignation from the role, he called on the CPS to implement changes to how rape cases were investigated and even helped the Labour Party draw up a victim’s law outlining how it could be done. This was after he had the power to push for these changes himself within the institution.

We now have his utterly useless pre-election promise that he will cut violence (sexual or otherwise) against women and girls by 50%, though again without a statement on how he will achieve this. (same as most of Hindsight's pre-election promises to date).

I surrender. 🏳️

You make a scurrilous accusation, produce no evidence to back it up, twist and turn and obfuscate until the cows come home.

But I am the one who is thick. :D
