Re: Best burgers in Udon
I thought this thread was about the burgers, not the people who reported on them. Not much point in having such a thread if you can only talk about the pros, and not the cons.
The best burger I have had in Udon was at the Burger Cafe & Bistro, on the Nong Prajak corner on Tasa Rd.

I agree JS sadly many feel that posting negative will get mote attention despote possible at the same time causing financial harm to the establishment , when as all said and done TASTE is purely subjective

I think the rest went to Canada, Pineapple on Pizza in both English and French
Re: Best burgers in Udon
I’ve never had pineapple on my Aussie Burger but a burger with beetroot, tomato, cheese and a fried egg is bloody lovely.

Re: Best burgers in Udon
Yes, pineapple and ham/bacon are normal for a pizza in Canuck land. But pineapple would seem an odd topping for a hamburger/cheeseburger.

Have no idea why you are posting me about Pineapple on Hamburgers Lulu
It was another poster who noted the pineapple on Burgers I was talking about Pizza

Re: Best burgers in Udon
In the same vein as making an inopportune palaver, why did you post a comment about pizza in a burger thread in the first place?

Re: Best burgers in Udon
It was an attempt to get you back on topic since I could not figure out what your statement about pineapple on pizza in Canada had to do with best burgers in Udon.

Re: Best burgers in Udon
it was based on the statement concerning criminals.
"No wonder we sent the nutters and criminals down under when they ate beetroot and pinapple on a burger!"
If trying to get me back on topic this could have been pointed out earlier

Re: Best burgers in Udon
I have a guy in my village bags me out at every opportunity about my prefernce to drink Chang, he drinks Budweiser so as the Americans say 'Go Figure'. Taste is very personal, for me pineapple on hamburgers, Pizza and 'Sweet n Sour' tastes disgusting, but Beetroot on a burger is fantastic, Beetroot is often described as a superfood so great nutritional value as a bonus.
As for that hackneyed and snide remark about Australia once being a penal colony, ditto the USA which had an even older role in being the land that Britain dumped its crims. Today the criminal population in USA per 100,00 population is 531, 350% more than Australia, whose prison population is 158 per 100,000. The land of the crims is the USA with 1.7M incarcerated, more than any other country in the developed world.

(almost) Back on topic, I've heard the burgers they serve up in the Polunsky Unit slammer are to die for.Whistler wrote: ↑February 7, 2024, 12:51 pmI have a guy in my village bags me out at every opportunity about my prefernce to drink Chang, he drinks Budweiser so as the Americans say 'Go Figure'. This is Clive's "Average" Burger from Ban Dung's own Butchers Arms Sport Bar: Comes with Fries and additional onion rings for 290 Baht. Top quality beef burger, smoked bacon, onion rings, cheddar cheese, fresh salad, egg, etc. He does a bigger one called the "Belly Buster".
