Hello, Hamburger lovers!!!

I've a suggestion for you ... Koala burgers and more, Burger restaurant udon thani - Facebook

Not only a 'great' variety, best priced and delicious juicy melt in your mouth burgers from chicken, pork to fish.
You can build to your online using their website with one of the delivery services.

And, they have delicious milk shakes!

I've tried many of their offers, liked them all so much called the owner; Thong, a great Thai fella and his lovely wife who both speak perfect English. Then went in to meet them at their 'very clean' medium size open very nice place of business inside Udon.

Your food is cooked right up front as you enter; again... very clean!

In any case, hope you try and enjoy as I have...
-Doc
Seconded docta!

These became the much cheaper option for the semi-regular delivery burger meal. The lower cost didn't mean a smaller or lower quality burger and never any complaints from the gang at my place. I'll admit their cheese fries weren't too good when they first added them to the menu, but someone has been taking lessons since then.

But, this is the burger purists thread so yes, good value and tasty burgers.

I had a tasty burger on the UT to NK road today. 200 baht.

Road side place, just up from UDIS, same side.

The cook said she worked in S. Carolina for many years.

Best homemade relish & pickle I've ever had in TH.

Good info. Has it got a name?

That's one for potamoi to check out on his commute.

No name that I could read, LOL, but the lady said she's "there or thereabouts" 5 or 6 days a week, mid mornings to late lunchtime afternoons.

She sells all of what she preps each day, and when she has no more to sell, she goes home.

Was that The new International school just past the Holy Mary school on the junction to Ban Phu and where the new traffic lights have just been installed or the International school which was for young children and been there for years.

Have just driven past both schools. The first one coming from Udon (UDIS) had a stall that sold chicken so stopped and asked about Burgers. Woman did not speak English just pointed further down the road. No stall further down the road. Went past the Udon Community International school just past the Traffic lights to Ban Phue and no stall at all. Maybe she does not work Sundays.

He sells beef and pork burgers (separately vs mixed).

His stand is called Indy Burgers.

I like his burgers.

She told me she's open 5 to 6 days & moves up and down the same stretch of ONE side of the road, and is there mid morns to late lunches.

And she's no more McD's than she is Charoen Sri Optical.

On Valentines day, went to a restaurant just 200 metres from home. The burger had been recommended by B-in-L. It was so big eating it was a struggle! And absolutely delicious. Owner is a German chef and his wife, who sold up in Germany and developed this place, which i have seen develop over the last 2 years (next to pond on our farm). No expense has been spared. Clientele is 90% German, but menu is in English. Not cheap....

For those of us Mapites who have been around for a while, who can forget when we had our very own Purveyor of Fine Burgers, whizzing around Udon on his customised salaeng.

And the guy who still sells beef (and pork) burgers on weekday afternoons in the Nong Sim parking lot IS very good, but the new stall I mentioned on the UT to NK road is even better. \:D/

Me, myself, and I... I like a burger that oozes tasty grease, w/ a lightly toasted bun, and homemade relish & pickle.

The place on the UT to NK road is sublime. 8)

Just got back home from a long drive.

The burger lady was there Wed & Thu this week. (Yesterday, and the day before).

I had medium rare burgers, lightly toasted buns, and SUPERB homemade relish & pickle.

Drove past there yesterday. Slowed down to a crawl at the UDIS school. No sign of any burger stall along that stretch of road.
It was 2 pm.
As Wee Jimmy stated please take a picture next time you are there se we can recognise it
Is it a stall or a removable portable unit.
