Best burgers in Udon

After reviewing photos of some of the astronomical gastronomical creations shown in this diverse, mysterious and sometime controversial thread, I pose a question of definition.

Is a hamburger a true hamburger if it can't be held in both hands, and then consumed in such manner?

Indeed it does , thanks Potty .. i am an afternoon person when it comes to partaking in a beverage alas sometimes it morphs into evening and night so i like to get as close to home as possible (Accoustic) thus avoiding a long commute.

Cant recall ever being referred to esteemed Doc .. Nicha the owner is a lovely lass and cooks a cracking burger , i think you could call it a smash burger style whatever its a dam tasty beef mix she uses.

Called in Center beers n burgers this afternoon and due to fasting this morning for 4 hours i tried both the new NZ burger folllowed by the Ozz beef version .. both excellent a solid 9 out of 10 forthe kiwi n 8.5 for the Ozz .. washed down with some rather gay Tawandang rose wheat beer which turned out to be a fine choice.

Couple of Udons finest in there and also bumped into a real life Cod head from Grimsby whom i advised to wait until it got dark before leaving so not to scare local children and soi dogs.

Spotlessly clean place with a very nice young lady owner chef ..she does a great job.

Disclaimer .. i do not have any affiliation to this place just credit where its due .. as as the OP asked the question i went the extra kilo literally to find the answer ..

New opening times are correct 1pm to 8pm .. Tues thru to Sunday ,Monday closed.

Last time I was there she said she was flirting with an idea of a special on the slow day, Tuesday. Sounded like a beverage special too? I will continue watching FB and this thread as we all like a special.

No mention of any specials yesterday Potty ...a combined burger n beer deal would hit the spot n get a few renegades dropping in for sure.

My go to deal has to be the Chang pro at Accoustic is a crazy 3 big bottles for 199 (66.333333 bt per bottle) but no food combo deals.. just round corner from my abode which is handy.

Possibly more suitable for Center BnB ..a combo deal of example 2 big changs for 149 chuck in a burger in for 299 bt , just gotta watch out for the free ice in beer brigade.

in past just ordered the burger but I did look at the menu yesterday and its small with only about 6 or 7 items which is a good idea ..spotted a Chilli n Chips/Fries on there noted for my next afternoon visit ... tho must admit im hooked on the NZ burger at the mo.

Sorry to upset everyone but I had what is indisputably the best burger in Udon and the surrounds courtesy of our own local Dean – Papa Pies – for lunch today.
It’s a double (yes double) Wagyu burger for 199 Baht – asked and got medium cooked to perfection
Do not have the steak chips with it – no joke you will not finish it !

Toasted Brioche bun, 2x120g wagu burger patties 4x cheddar cheese slices. Just a pinch of salt on the burger for seasoning.. real brioche not just a bun brushed with cheap margarine to fake the look.
