How many pictures do they need for a re-entry permit application at the Udon immigration office?? Or do they embrace the technology and snap your picture digitally at the desk?

They need one photo - but from memory, they will take one of their own as well.
Re: Re-entry permit at Udon Thani immigration
Did one in Feb, no photos needed
Best being part of this forum by placing the intellectual challenged on foes list. A lot less post to read and a great time saver.

Seems YMMV - I also did a RE at the end of February, and my offered photo was accepted.

Union immigration say that they want 1 picture, this is information from 3 weeks ago.

In my posts all fees and requirements are the standard R&R but TIT and a brown envelope can make incredible changes YMMV.

Bit of a lottery then. I'll get it at the airport on the way out. They have my picture and passport data on file there and just take a new digital one to match with what's on file.

Re: Re-entry permit at Udon Thani immigration
I just goto the Imm office or BKK departures armed with a prefilled TM xx form (forgot number for Re-entry) on which I attach a photo in the relevant box. Nothing hard about it!!!!

I have used the re-entry permit desk at Suvarnabhumi departure Immigration Hall #1 maybe a dozen times already. Never had an issue and agree there's 'nothing hard about it'. Don't even need any prefilled form, just sign the one they print, get the picture taken, pay the fee and presto! 10 minutes later, you are on your way.Bandung_Dero wrote: ↑April 2, 2024, 3:42 pmI just goto the Imm office or BKK departures armed with a prefilled TM xx form (forgot number for Re-entry) on which I attach a photo in the relevant box. The reason I posted was I had some time to kill today so thought I would avail myself of the local office, but that looks like the usual can o' worms so tomorrow night, I will get the re-entry permit at the usual place.
