Re: Air fryer Pros-Cons-brand tips
Best appliance - equal with the microwave - I have in the kitchen. I recently purchased my second fryer.
Suggest 6 litre size, and 1300 watt minimum. Digital or mechanical up to you, as is brand. They are a pretty simple device.
My first one had a 2 part basket, which I found more convenient for removing the cooked food, but I can't see the same model on Lazada or Shopee, nor any other similar.
Cons - none.

I have an 8 liter, excellent for fries and wings. Easy to clean.
Only con is max temperature.

Thanks much for sharing your info, fellas.
The Brand name of your unit/s would help a lot.
Thank you...

I bought a Haier from Thai Watsadu. It has the removable inner basket that js recommends and I agree as it makes for more efficient air circulation, faster cooking and easier cleaning.

This was the first one I bought - apparently still available, albeit with a different brand name. Note - 4.5 litres.
NB - the poor rating of the seller.

This is my current one:

They range from cheap ฿600 to moderate ฿3~4000 to expensive dual basket ones over ฿40,000
It has the dual basket but not dual cooking The one thing I would have preferred would be a higher than 200C maximum temperature.
If this one fails I will get another
We got ours a couple of years ago, they have probably dropped slightly in price it is a 6L and I would not go lowerIt has the dual basket but not dual cooking The one thing I would have preferred would be a higher than 200C maximum temperature.

In what way is an air fryer better than the circular halogen ovens?

Re: Air fryer Pros-Cons-brand tips
It’s faster to cook, cheaper to run, gets food that should be crispy, crispy (the halogen oven doesn’t) cooks from all sides.
Is that enough?

I have a cheap Benka in Thailand and the Philips here in Belgium. The Philips is by far the better unit
