I find it interesting and disappointing that the ICC seems to equate the actions of Hamas and Israel as equally bad. For example, it's accepted South Africa's complaint against Israel for genocide, yet Hamas' stated purpose is genocide, not the case with Israel.

One should hope that word is passed to Hamas that it endangers the lives of their citizens when they hide amongst them. Hamas needs to stop integrating themselves within the civilian population. The ICJ should condemn the Hamas tactic, and action needs to be taken. Otherwise, lives will be lost needlessly.

You seem to start with the assumption that Israel is fabricating these claims. The fact is that Hamas has a long history of brutality towards the people it governs, perfectly happy to sacrifice them in furtherance of its stated goal of the genocide of Jews. But that seems to be OK with you.

That is good news - let's hope there is more to follow:

- release of all the remaining hostages

- further negotiations on a meaningful ceasefire

- an end to indiscriminate IDF bombing of Gaza, with totally disproportionate innocent deaths

- [EDIT] an end to Hamas (and Hezbollah) firing rockets indiscriminately into Israel and associated casualties of innocent civilians

- a meaningful path forward to a long term solution - which hopefully will sideline Hamas and Netanyahu.
