Google is really your friend
The Find My Device network is coming soon
You can use Find My Device today to locate devices when they’re connected to the Internet. With the new Find My Device network, you’ll be able to locate your devices even if they’re offline. You can also find any compatible Fast Pair accessories when they’re disconnected from your device. This includes compatible earbuds and headphones, and trackers that you can attach to your wallet, keys or bike.
To help you find your items when they’re offline, Find My Device will use the network of over a billion devices in the Android community and store your devices’ recent locations.
How it works
Devices on the network use Bluetooth to scan for nearby items. If other devices detect your items, they’ll securely send the locations where the items were detected to Find My Device. Your Android devices will do the same to help others find their offline items when detected nearby.
Your devices' locations will be encrypted using the PIN, pattern or password for your Android devices. They can only be seen by you and those you share your devices with in Find My Device. They will not be visible to Google or used for other purposes.
You'll get a notification on your Android devices when this feature is turned on in three days. Until then, you can opt out of the network through Find My Device on the web. Your choice will apply to all Android devices linked to your Google account. After the feature has been turned on, you will be able to manage device participation at any time through the Find My Device settings on the device.

Not really. Google manipulates searches.
Elon Musk is the latest to point this out in a post 3 hours ago.
Google has a search ban going on anything Trump.
By now, maybe Google has come out and apologized and called it a "glitch" -- like they are apt to do.

Re: Google is really your friend
Since AI, Google is NOT your friend. There is nothing that you can trust to be true.
Re: Google is really your friend
Not really, AI is greatly overhyped. It is neither a monster or a sliver bullet. It is an analytical tool but is quite limited, very poor at forward predictions. Google was always a bit of an AI tool so no need to fret.
To claim, as some do on here that search engines are deliberately engineered to deliver biased results is ting tong. Search on Google by all means and look at results, then look at source of content uncovered by Google and determine if it is credible. All Google does is cross index data on the WWW, it does not create content.

Re: Google is really your friend
The give away of money from Social Security was blatantly false and it is still making rounds. AI is responsible for that lie. AI looks for similar posts and condenses them. AI has no regard whether they are true or false.
Re: Google is really your friend
Condenses them? Do you mean concateinates them? I have never seen google join two separate pieces of content together. Do you have an example?

The fake SS money giveaway is the best example.
Re: Google is really your friend
Can you tell me what you typed into the google search to see this?

Re: Google is really your friend
Glalt, this has nothing to do with AI. A Google search indexed a scam article. There is heaps of misinformation on the www, google has no ability to deduce if the article is true or not, it simply reports kn what is found. The best thing we can all do with rubbish like this is report it to Google and they should, I repeat should, stop it being found on searches

Re: Google is really your friend
Google and Microsoft both us AI. Copilot Is now shown on Windows.
Re: Google is really your friend
Google does NOT USE Copilot as part of its search algorithms. It intends to integrate Copilot to provide enhanced results.

Re: Google is really your friend
your point is?
Microsoft also has Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Dynamics XP, Dynamics NAV, Linkedin and a host of other software suites, none of these are used by the Bing Search engine, ditto Copilot. Google has Google words, Chat, meet, drive etc, none of these are used for the Google search app, ditto Copilot.
Google already has one of the most advanced AI engines in the world called TensorFlow, that is not used by Google search either. Neither company's search engines concatenate disparate pieces of content, nor does any of these products create content. Copilot is used with TensorFlow as it's AI engine, TensorFlow has been around for years.
You seem to be alluding to a change in the world of search engines to locate content, now that AI is becoming prominent. That simply has not happened. You clearly do not understand how AI or ML works or you would not be posting the comments you have made.

Re: Google is really your friend
I readily admit that I don't know. I do know that search inquiries contain a lot of erroneous information. That is my complaint.
