No, the various "teams" or "factions" to which you're assigning people, and what team any particular person is on are totally irrelevant. I suggested that Trump is a liar, and gave as an example his latest lie, that Biden wouldn't call Governor Kemp to offer aid, that Biden was MIA regarding hurricane aid. Governor Kemp says that President Biden did call him and offered him aid. Trump lied. Period. Very simple.

Anything else is an attempted distraction from the point that I was making. Trump is a liar.

It's not a betrayal of Trump or the Republican party for a Republican governor to speak with a Democratic President about aid for the state after a natural disaster. It's a governor and a President governing. That's what they do.

This is the problem with Trump. You're either 100% unquestioningly loyal to him or you're out. Trump is not a Republican.

The Republican party has a long and respectable tradition in the U.S., the party of Lincoln, Rockefeller, Romney (George and Mitt), Reagan, Eisenhower, and Bush 41. Other important Republicans include Lowell Weicker, James Baker, Henry Kissinger, Bob Dole, Susan Collins, J.C. Watts, Howard Baker, Jacob Javits, Jeane Kirkpatrick, Colin Powell, -- I could go on, of course. While I often disagree with their substantive positions, what these people (and so many more) have in common is a love for the U.S. They were loyal to the country, the Constitution.

Trump labels any Republican who disagrees with him a RINO, Republican In Name Only. What Trump wants, demands, is personal loyalty, fealty, really, to him. Trump is interested in Trump, not the good or future of the country. He's running a personality cult, not a political party.

The RNC has filed suit against the Fulton County Georgia Elections Director, Nadine Williams, for refusing to hire trained and qualified Republican poll workers. Only 15 Republicans have been hired out of the more than 800 election staff.

According to the filing:

“As of the date of filing this Application for Emergency Writ of Mandamus, RNC, GRP and Fulton GOP believe that a total of 62 individuals on their list have applied with Defendant to work on Election Day. However, Defendant has only hired 6 of these 62 qualified workers.

A large percentage of these 62 qualified workers have never been contacted or have no idea of whether Defendant Williams intends to issue an order of appointment.

Based upon information and belief, Defendant Williams has found that 12 of the 62 individuals that are willing to work on Election Day are qualified to work the elections. However, rather than issue an appointment, Defendant Williams has put these qualified poll workers “on reserve.”

Defendant Williams has ostensibly placed the RNC, GRP and Fulton GOP’s list of qualified workers at the back of the line for Election Day work.”
