After Donald Trump was asked in a Monday interview about the future prospects of Gaza, the former president made a curious claim: “You know, I’ve been there, and it’s rough.”

There is no evidence of Trump ever having been to Gaza.

In a post on Truth Social, on Friday afternoon, Mr. Trump claimed that he’d been endorsed by America’s most influential banker, the chief executive of JPMorgan Chase, Jamie Dimon.

This is false.

Breaking 50+ years of tradition, Trump was a no show for a 60 Minutes interview. According to the network, The campaign “complained that we would fact-check the interview. We fact-check every story.” The Trump team also demanded an apology for his interview during the 2020 campaign, where he claimed that correspondent Lesley Stahl said a laptop computer belonging to President Joe Biden's son Hunter came from Russia. “She never said that,” Pelley said.

Since Fulton County Georgia refused to work with the State Elections Board and appointed its own monitoring team for 2024, the State Elections Board just voted 3-2 to subpoena ALL the records from Fulton County from the 2020 Election.

Fantastic news.

To what end? Trump supporters haven't yet figured out that a large majority of Americans are tired of hearing about the 2020 election? Trump's advisors have been telling him to drop it for months. Even J.D. gets it.

A very good reason for Fulton County's refusal

"The dispute centers on the county’s refusal to accept election monitors favored by the board’s Republican majority, including a former Pennsylvania congressman who opposed counting his state’s electoral votes for Democrat Joe Biden and a subcontractor in the Cyber Ninjas audit of the 2020 presidential election in Maricopa County, Arizona."

Leftists supporting, encouraging and cheering election fraud is not surprising.

Yes, so let's talk about election fraud. Trump, his attorneys, and other Republican and/or MAGA people brought numerous lawsuits all over the country on the subject of election fraud after the 2020 election. All of them lost, before judges appointed by Trump, by Presidents prior to Trump and before state judges (over whom the President has no power of appointment). In fact, Giuliani was disciplined (disbarred) for filing a lawsuit on behalf of his client (Trump) alleging election fraud with zero evidence supporting the allegations.

Here are some of the cases: https://campaignlegal.org/results-lawsu ... -elections

And here are others, those which actually made it to decision on the merits: https://electioncases.osu.edu/case-trac ... l&topic=25

I guess you could argue they were within their rights to bring lawsuits. But how about the fake electors scheme, the recorded Trump-Raffensperger phone call where Trump said, "What I want to do is this. I just want to find, uh, 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state." The whole deal with Pence (where's Mike now??) and of course J6. MAGA morons are so pathetic. Trump really should relocate his cult if he loses. Maybe Putin could provide a place in Siberia where he could be worshipped and declared emperor for life.

No question. Just as judges are within their rights to impose sanctions on people who bring lawsuits that are deemed frivolous.

Uh oh.

Biden asked by a reporter if DeSantis needs to take VP Harris' calls on hurricanes.

Biden: "All I can tell you is I've talked to Governor DeSantis. He's been very gracious. He's thanked me for all we've done. He knows what we're doing and I think that's important."

Fraud Kamala. Being fed questions through an ear piece.

This isn't an unusual practice at all. Why do you think that newscasters nearly always wear earpieces? She's not a meterologist. Perhaps she wore this so she could have up to the minute accurate information about the storm.

Compare to Trump's overruling the National Weather Service and altering its map of a storm track: https://www.politico.com/story/2019/09/ ... mp-1482839. I'm sure that he knows much more than professional meterologists, and was thus qualified to alter their map.

And really, -- Sky News Australia? Please. It's a well-known right-wing disinformation operation. In 2021, YouTube barred Sky News Australia from uploading new content onto their channel for a week for breaking YouTube's rules on posting videos containing COVID-19 misinformation. A 2022 analysis by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, a British think tank, found that Sky News Australia was a major source for climate change misinformation. In August 2018, Sky News was heavily criticised for providing a platform to Blair Cottrell, leader of the far-right, Neo-Nazi organisation United Patriots Front, who has expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler and has claimed to have manipulated women "using violence and terror."

It's a funny old world, isn't it.

Just a few years back, Australians, so-inclined, would go to US sources such as Fox News for their fix of right-wing misinformation and general nutiness.

Now it's the Americans coming to Oz for Sky News (after Dark) - plus a few Australians of course.

Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff were at a coffee shop in Phoenix, Arizona. They both walked out without paying. Walz’s daughter tried to get a staffer’s credit card to pay.

Contrast that with Trump, who always picks up the tab everywhere he goes and buys for everyone there.

I watched the video. As usual, that's not exactly what happened. Walz and Emhoff walked away. Then daughter was given her coffee and said, "Someone will be up here to pay." Staff behind the counter replied, "That's OK, don't worry about it."

Trump, of course, does buy coffee for everyone around. But he uses campaign money. Same as he's using campaign money to pay his personal legal bills, after funneling the donations through a separate entity or two in an effort to conceal what he's doing. After all, no reason to spend his own money when his sycophants are willing to pay for everything.

Except when he doesn't. :D

And then there is his long, documented history of stiffing contractors during his self-proclaimed brilliant business career.

And what about that huge coffee bill he still needs to pay to his sexual assault victim, E Jean Carroll?

Democrats are wheeling out Obama in Pennsylvania. It's Code Red.

Obama is chastising Black men for not supporting Kamala. He's accusing them of being against women and not being real men.

I don't know about you guys but I think Xi Jinping of China is a brilliant guy. He rules 1.4 billion people with an iron fist. I have great respect for that. Everything perfect about him. Smart, intelligent, good looks. A great gentleman!

He’s now president for life. Think about it. President for life. He's the most powerful Chinese leader in a hundred years. And he’s great. He was able to do that. I think it’s great. Maybe the US or Europe will give that a shot some day, the iron fist.
