" Harris's Democrats are allegedly communists."

What examples make this true?
The key word here is "allegedly".

In the same way the left wing media suggests that Trump and his core support are fascists, the right-leaning media claims that Harris, like her father, is a communist.

Neither the left wing suggestions nor the right wing claims can make any of these examples true. They are nothing more than opinions based on unsubstantiated claims of being factual. Or "alternative facts" as Kellyann Conway infamously offered, turning public opinion via mainstream media on its head.

IMO Trump being a fascist is a lot closer to reality than Harris being a Communist.

That said, I expect that Harris will get as many anti-Trump votes as she gets pro-Harris votes. As I said in 2016, Trump didn't win so much as Hillary lost.

IN HIS FINAL PITCH TO VOTERS, Trump just said Liz Cheney should be executed by firing squad after calling her "very dumb". Not the first time he's called for someone to be executed if you remember the Milley comments. But no big deal, normal day.

I would need to be really motivated to check, but I would think most of those that prematurely departed his previous administration, chose to resign rather than being fired. It's like his invention of the term RINO,...or whoever in his inner circle jerked that one off. Better to be RINO than a RITO.

I reckon he's "aw mooth an' troosers" and I think there's enough legal checks and balances in place to stop him from suspending the constitution which is key to his seizing ultimate control within a four-year term (if he lasts that long). I really don't see the US national guard, police and military unanimously "rolling tanks" or enforcing martial law, just because the big bairn's not happy. Maybe he's counting on the Border Patrol and Teamsters to arm up and defend his idea of American greatness?

Now he does have some truly evil people in his inner circle, like Bannon and Miller. Now those buggers are certified bloody lunatics and Donald's their glove puppet. As for the MAGA (aka RITO) mob, it's all good fun until someone loses an eye.

Sacked or instructed to offer their letter of resignation, or resigning because human decency means they could not stand by the dictates from the Orange POTUS is kind of immaterial. Its still a huge number of changes in any administration.
This might be the norm for American leaders but just seems to be strange to an outsider looking in.

I disagree. The vote only said that he is the person that a majority of people want to be their leader, not that he is fit for the job.

The majority of the American electorate reckon he is, otherwise they would have voted for the shrieky VP.

I am not American, but from what I can read into it, the People of America (all Ethnicities), have profoundly expressed their preference as to whether both the Candidate was fit and or whether the Republican Party was the right party for the Country for the next four years.

It would appear that past / present opinions of a many of the elite / privileged in the USA and the majority of the Media spokespersons, along with a raft of Others, who thought they knew what was better for the USA, were wrong or completely out of touch with Mr./Mrs. Average American and what they wanted and what they were thinking. This given slightly more than half the people of the USA from all Ethnicities expressed their preference for the Republican Party (in both the Senate and House) for all its faults, and yes the R Party does have some.

Mr./Mrs. Average American is probably more concerned about his job security, the increases in cost of living every month, (especially the price of petrol & cost of medical) and crime/his families safety. If you raise his or hers concern level in any of these three concerns, there is a fair chance that they will switch sides.

This result is not just about Trump vs Kamala for President, as the Republican Party has also taken the Senate (increasing its numbers) and the House. The Voters could have split their Vote (between Presidential Candidate and Party), but they didn't and in doing so the majority of the people appear to have sent a message as much about Party Policies and not just about Her or Him.

My view is that one of the main reasons driving the shift in the Voters, has been the "Border" issue and what people perceive to be an open border at this time. Just my view

It is ironic that some who profess to argue for a democratic society (including some on this Forum) cannot accept this particular election result (for whatever reason) given it is arguably one of the largest democratically run elections.

Trump and The Republican Party just didn't win, they trounced Kamala and the Democratic Party. People will need to find a way to move on and accept it, as least for the next 4 years, as ones life should not revolve around Political persuasions.

When asked a question about whether three not so well liked leaders, should be President of.........., a great man once said "One of the mistakes that some political analysts make, is to think that their enemies should be our enemies" HENCE THE RESULT :-k :-k

In similar wording just because someone has a low opinion about or hates another, does means that everyone else has think the same.

Anyone else here see any commonality betweeen what Trump has been saying ("enemy from within", deport millions of people who don't look like us, etc.), and Germany in the late 1930s?

I'm gratified to know that the US voters are smarter than the majority of this forum's members. The voters have spoken. LOL! I'm not a Trump fan but he is by far the better choice.

The US election is no measure of who's a [redacted by Mod] around here. So your team won. Is that a reason to insult people you don't even know.
