Toyota showcased its new portable hydrogen cartridges at the Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2024. These compact cartridges can power cars, indoor and outdoor appliances, and fuel-cell tools. Designed for convenience, they resemble large batteries with handles and can be carried by hand or stored in a backpack.
Toyota also demonstrated a hydrogen-powered cooker developed with Rinnai Corporation, highlighting plans to integrate hydrogen technology into future products to reduce carbon emissions.

I am surprised that there are not more accidents with compressed fuels. CNG, Hydrogen and even LPG are explosive and highly pressurized. I don't like the idea of riding around in a potential bomb. Diesel is the safest, best most efficient fuel available. We need more research on how to clean up the emissions. Electric is also fairly safe and clean.

Statistics, adjusted for the number of vehicles of each type, indicate that there's a far higher incidence of ICE-related fires than EV-related ones.

Seems to be in a fairly isolated area and no signs of the necessary invertor housing, battery housing and electrical grid connections to this remote location.
Might be early days in the construction so looking at incomplete system. Would be interesting to know the total costs involved.

The geographic coordinates of the solar power facility are in the picture I posted. You need to open the picture to see them properly. For the GPS-challenged, it's about 19 km north of Udon, left side of the Nong Khai highway.

Honestly, it's the best a Google search could do from a baffling post that had no citation and provided no links to any source.

Here's a Google map link for the truly curious.

Looks like the solar farm that's been there for years and now from my last recent cruise past on the bike in a developing dilapidated state. Incomplete panels or removed from the framework.
Not something that would be considered the largest farm unless there is an expansion on the horizon.

Keep in mind my "investigation" was based on a fellow member's post that was very sparse on anything Googleable.

I recall that "Udonthani Skyline" mentioned in the post in question may be a FB site? Since I am FB-averse, maybe others can take up the cudgel?
