pretty much. Those three could have really messed things up. Now we'll see if Johnson supported by Trump can "whip" the Republicans into a political coherence that usually only the Dems pull off.. To get anything done politically is going to take all the Repubs to support it..
RINO power! You know it makes (more) sense.

I will take interest in a countries politics from time to time but admit I am simply an observer. To all you critics of American politics, it might serve you well to observe rather than comment, like I do. I do not know the intricacies of foreign governments, just as many commentators here do not know about America politics. I suggest to sit back and observe. As an American citizens, I am very delighted to see the changes ahead for our country under President Trump.

Doesn't seem to be much point in having a forum if we are just here to "observe".

Your 10 posts in 18/19 years would tend to prove that point.

Good luck with Trump, if that is your thing. History would seem to indicate it will be needed.

Perhaps the guy does not have the same fanatical urge to impose his thoughts on people as some others seem to have.

Unreasonable hatred is not a health thing. That way of thinking indicates to me a miserable person.

Strange how everything that happens in American politics has an effect on the world, it's politics,it's economy it's culture. Watch any media and all you get is American politics. Yet something that affects everyone on the planet we as 'non Americans ' are supposed to be quiet and observe. Strange thinking

In my view, Trump has earned every bit of hate he gets - and then some.

The ones who deserve sympathy are the 70 million plus who voted for him, and even more sympathy for the 160 million plus who didn't.

People seem to have very short memories - January 6, 2021 was only 4 years ago.

Dont you think that October 7th 2023 (just over a year ago) has had a bigger impact on the world than anything Trump has had.

But remember, acccording to the Trumpers, they were just a group of tourists who wanted to see the Capitol.

So far, yes. But Trump has made it clear that he intends to remake the world order over the next four years.

Apart from the illegal invasion of the seat of Government at the sorry end of his tenure, what did the one who loves to spout off about all in his circle of self aggrandisement did he actually achieve (tax cuts or increases dont count).

A classic Jon Stewart line from the Daily Show, commenting on the recent vote confirmation in the House:
Because it's amazing how smoothly our democracy can work when you don't act like a little bitch when you lose.
At about 3.33:

(Cue - our in-house Eagles tragic). ;)
