You missed out the claim he would end the illegal invasion of Ukraine within 24 hours of his taking power. Just saying.
Perhaps I'm mistaken, -- I thought that he said that he would end that war before he was sworn in.

You are - I'm sure he said he would end it before it started.

And Mexico would pay for it.

Is he trying to isolate the USA from the World? Sure looks like it

Agree with you.
His whole election ticket was based on fairly obvious isolationist policies.
If you are a citizen of the USA you either think the brand new POTUS is the new Messiah or the equivalent of a certain Austrian who had some fairly radical thoughts back in the first half of the last century.
History has shown time and time again that this type of unrestricted power has horrible (A Trumpism) consequences.
Hitler wasn't an isolationist, but the Americans sitting on their hands and watching Europe from afar certainly were, until the Japanese bombed them off their comfortable wall at Pearl Harbor.

Trump is not like Hitler, not even close. Maybe that misconception happens when the word 'fascist' is arbitrarily bandied about by certain losing presidential candidates or incorrectly attributed to people of all classes and persuasions in the same was as 'racist' commonly is?
WHAT! He was a demented, racially prejudiced monster. Even the Italians didn't trust him not to eventually turn his eye on their land.
I am afraid that Trump's demonisation of the Hispanic peoples as murdering criminals has all the hallmarks of the early 1930's.
For me there is no difference between Fascist or Marxist. Both depend on the absolute acceptance of the 'Leaders' dictates without question on pain of severe punishment.
Despite being unable to express any opinion on whether he was an isolationist or otherwise, thanks for sharing your opinion on what made Hitler evil which, despite being a bit basic, is still fundamentally correct. Similarly, and despite being rather simplistic, your rationale for being unable to differentiate the demagogues of the extreme left from those of the extreme right is also accepted.

Why, after his first term of bluff, deceit and non-deliverables, do Trump's antagonists use his current inability to come good on his absurd promises as evidence of anything substantial with regard to his encore?

Jeez Tam, does an isolationist expand his borders to increase his living space at the expense of the indigenous population.
Did the Austrian close the Reichs borders or expand the lands under his control?
It would be interesting to hear your explanation of the differences between a Marxist dictator as opposed to a Fascist Dictator.
Have a nice day.

Trump proposes to send 87,000 newly hired IRS Agents to the border.. Well, a bit hard to do since the 87,000 figure was one proposed by the Biden Administration to be hired over a 10 year period. 30,000 were hired since the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, mostly filling for attrition due to retirement. Funny though, all the right leaning media talking heads immediately praised the idea without of course explaining that the 87,000 figure didn't exist..

Trump talks ----. "The US is the only country in the world with birthright citizenship!!" Quickly parroted by his followers.. Well, gee, nope. Most of the Western Hemisphere has Jus Solis too.. Just a Google away. Do you think Trump has anybody sitting near him to tell him he got it wrong?? Or does Trump realize that the hyperbole is just that...

The wokey media seems to be spending loads of time tracking down each and every one of Trump's pardoned, bad boy "insurrectionists." Quite a few lefty losers are a wetting their panties when the odd, mindless Jan 6 club member is either promptly rearrested for firearms offences or getting themselves shot dead by cops for resisting arrest. They're just as bad as the odd one or two hapless and hopeless law-breaking Harris voters who, funnily enough, nobody's really interested in at the moment.

Talking of, anyone know what's happening over in Kamala World at the moment? Pretty darned quiet over there. Probably still butt hurt and bitter like Joe?

Another 'Hitler caller' beating the retreat.

Mandelson blames it on an Italian interviewer. Well, he would, wouldn't he? With the possible exception of Enoch Powell, a more odious British politician would be hard to find.

"Lord Mandelson said he was wrong to call Donald Trump a “danger to the world” in a retraction of historic comments about the US president.

The Labour peer is expected to become the UK’s ambassador to the US, although there is still a chance he could be rejected by the White House.

Speaking in 2019, Lord Mandelson described Mr Trump as a “danger to the world” and “little short of a white nationalist and racist” during his first term.

But in an interview with Fox News on Wednesday, he distanced himself from the remarks and blamed the “fraught” British political climate of the time amid the Brexit deadlock.

In an interview with Fox News, Lord Mandelson said: “I made those remarks six years ago in 2019, led rather along this path by an Italian journalist, I was being interviewed at the time. ..."

The White House Library has released an urgent memo, seeking the return of one of its many copies of the "Handbook of Handy Phrases for Conservative Culture Warriors", last seen in the possession of a tall, elderly gent, who speaks with a distinctive Scottish accent.

I caught a few snippets from from DTs new rather attractive WH press secretary Ms Leavitt and thought she did a great job , a refreshing change from the truth skirting lies and cover ups from Bidens last two bints.

Can you explain just why you make such an outlandish comment.
Enoch Powell was an honest, hard working British MP and patriot.
If memory serves me right he called out the politico's of the days massively mistaken immigration policies and forecasting blood on the streets if the immigration of foreign nationals was not reduced.
He was not wrong was he.
Apologies for being off topic.

An even younger version of Kayleigh McEnany and does not even need that binder full of the actual facts to combat these WH MSM agencies dug in way too deep. Great memory and a breath of fresh air I say!
Should be fun to watch the next few sessions for sure as real media begin their forward motion and the likes of the US TV main stream show their consistently guided and bought bias in their decline. Can't wait for the next press event.
