While you are trying to get your head around AI, start thinking about how scary this is - particularly for those who love to plaster personal photos all over social media.
GeoSpy will find you with a single photo and AI!

I would say that 99.9% of photos being uploaded are by people who WANT to tell the world where they are in the photo's.

More scary stuff tied directly to AI.
Your location or browsing habits could lead to price increases when buying online

Its noted that you have not answered the question. Nothing unusual in that I suppose.
Thats a real scary story about prices can be influenced by location etc. I seem to remember that the costs of everything depend on location. Commodity prices have always been more expensive in low population, isolated communities rather that high density population areas. As for the other claim based on search history I would offer that being competitive is more important than price based on number of times your web site has been visited.

Re: DeepSeek new for AI
On Deep Seek, is it really ahead of Western AI?? Better and much less expensive according to the reports. Lots of hoopla with its introduction that caused Tech stocks doing AI to crash.. Do ya think the lower cost is possibly due to Chinese governmetn subsidies ??

As a functional app = no. What makes it so advanced is their computing (software) algorithm needs much less hardware (processing) power. That is why the likes of chip maker, Nvidia took such a big hit on the stock markets Monday. Nothing to do with subsidies.

So, like Haier, MG, Midea, BYD, Hisense, NIO and TCL, etc , it could be just more good looking, half-decent but cheap Chinese junk flooding new markets?Bandung_Dero wrote: ↑January 29, 2025, 4:13 pmAs a functional app = no.
