Tim Guesthouse (Sri ChiangMai )

Post by izzix » December 2, 2005, 12:54 am

Anyone here know what happened to Daniel the swiss guy that ran the Tim Guesthouse by the river at Sri Chiangmai ?
Last time i called in there for a beer it seems he has split with his 2nd wife and moved on ,i presume back to Bkk or maybe Switzerland.
The hotel now has thai owners running it.

I could have sworn that he was there back in May this year, I did pop along for a couple of beers and a bite to eat, wasn't busy though, probably due to the local worker that had the big mosquito fumigating machine on his back :(, that was busy cleansing the promenade.

I noticed a few 'new' places along the riverside, not sure what they was though...the only thing that was the same was the 'works finished' siren on the tomato factory..

Never really knew the local farangs in Tha Bo, although I do know an American and a Swiss Canadian, perhaps I should practise my french :?
