Thanks BM, I'm sure you would be better off just taking over a shop house or something and investing a few baht to make your own style bar.

There's not a lot to choose from in Tha Bo, a couple of Thai style bars, a couple of karaoke's and a snooker room are pretty much what the nightlife consists of round here. Ooops, nearly forgot the Little Rock pub, never seen it too busy but it's very noisey if you're into that sort of thing

There were others but they seem to have disappeared.

Good luck in your search and welcome to the forum yankus.

Be careful!Having non-authentic software can get you closed and big fines.Perfect setup for extortion!having authentic Windows on your computers can leave very little room for profit!

yes a good point Stan authentic windows will pay dividends after recouping the cost of set-up. it will make for a better experience for the kids too they will benefit, after all that is why you are doing it right or just to scam the kiddies with rubbish programmes.

Personally I would suggest that you do not even consider using Windows...
Use Linux, for free, instead.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux

You need to have security protocols in place to ensure that users can not or do not download anything onto you pcs.
Apart from that being needed to protect your equipment from virus (although that risk does slump to zero if you are using Linux rather than Windows) but also you will be liable if the copy write people check your equipment & find (for example) music or video downloaded by your customers. There are rumours often about unscrupulous officials sending children into shops to download music & so ensuring the immediate visit would be productive!!

The laws concerning these shops is very stringent (& unlike some laws they are enforced) especially concerning the permitted hours that children are allowed in the shop.

It would be worth your while to visit Pop Pops shop near Prajack Park and ask his advice. As far as I am aware he is one of the very few people in the Province that has a Government 5 star rating (the maximum) for his shop (yes, they are rated now).

If you look in classifieds you will see Pops is up for sale. Not sure if that's the business or just the premises .
Ageing is a privilige denied to many .
