Post members are busily preparing for the annual Christmas party, scheduled for December 24th at Nongprajak Park. Santa promises to be in town

Wish I could be there. I arrive in
Bangkok on the 17th but we are staying out of Udon for a week to spend some time alone before we go home. Will go to Udon on the 24th but I'm sure that the family will not allow me to head off after just getting there. Wish I coud be there. I love seeing children experiencing new things for the first time and I'm sure that Santa will be a great experience for them
Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck

Don't know where your kids are coming from, all the schools round here are having their own Christmas parties on that day. Shame I would have loved to bring mine.

As a norm they are bused in from local orphanages, primarily. A real big deal for them they don't get many presents through the year.
