UDON Flights

Arriving in Bangkok early Jan, (Suvar)...

and then onto Udon to see the in laws.
so should I try intrernal flight sfrom Don Mang or the Suvara

what is the most economical?

more flights leave from don muang which means that you got more choises of flight times

Depends on the time you arrive at Swampy! If your are arriving in the late morning or early afternoon you could fly with Air Asia to Udon at 16:15. They are usually the cheapest. Otherwise you will have to get over to Don Muang for Nok Air or Thai Air who have several flights per day. If you are arriving in the evening then you will have to stay over in Bangers or get a Bus or Train to Udon.
