Naan seems to be the only vegetarian item on the menu. There are many excellent vegetarian dishes in Indian cuisine.

Personally, I am crazy about Indian food, and am looking for someplace where I could have an occasional lunch or dinner. Being vegetarian, I would not eat any of the dishes listed, except perhaps a bit of naan.

Please consider adding some vegetarian dishes.

Some of my favorite curries:

Aloo Gobi Masala

Chana Masala

Dal Makhni

Mutter Paneer

Nargisi Kofta

Mali Kofta

Navratna Korma

Palak Paneer

Paneer Korma

Paneer Masala

It was with some trepidation that I allowed Sam to talk me into trying the Indian food on offer at Molly's. This was because as a previous sufferer of an ulcer I always stayed clear of spicy food and his recommendation was Rogan Josh and we all know that was a race horse that won the Melbourne Cup in 1999.

The dish was served with Rice and Naan Bread. It was delicious and filled me up. The Rogan Josh was mild enough to not cause me any concern. I still had 2 large Leo just in case there was some smouldering in my stomach. I will become brave enough to try some of the spicier offerings in the future

The non smoking envirnoment was appreciated as well.

Thank you Am and Sam

In my experience, it is, but worth it!

I agree. The Southern Indian vegetarian dishes would be easy to add to their menu. Is Basmati rice available in Udon or even Soona Masuri Rice would be great. :D

I would be interested to know how good the madras or vindaloo is as i tried some in Steve's bar before and it was quite authentic as a thai woman makes it although it was spicy.
I know lots of farangs in Udon and Khon Kaen who would die for a decent Indian curry.

Should be no problem. Thai curries have a lot of Indian influences. Only difference is in the use of fresh versus dried herbs and spices and heavy on the cumin. Although Dal is certainly used differently. Mollyis menu certainly has a good start with north Indian dishes. :D
