It was good to have a few beers with the boys last night at the night market. It has a great atmosphere and some very interesting sights.

Glad to buy a round and I am sure the Tiger girl fell over when you tipped her LA.

What do you think the chances of them having the FA Cup Semi Final on the big screen to-morrow evening for the forum get to-gether? ( 6.15 Kick Off) :?

You might just find the place packed. Arsenal v Liverpool 6.45 kick off and Man City v Liverpool 9.00pm local time. Not sure if first game will be screened though, if it is, book a table, it was standing room only a couple of weeks ago when these teams played. :D

All in favour of Liverpool playing as many games as possible, but I think Man City are playing Chelsea. :D
But I imagine you will be correct about how busy it will be!!!!

Since Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are playing tonight....it's going to be one big messy mad house.....half of Udon will be there to watch the games. Kick off and pass the brew.....hell has broken loose. I will be there and the TW said she is coming too....but if it gets busy here in the shop, it will only me.

You can bet it will be packed with Thais tonight with Liverpool and Man City both playing!!!As long as we can get seats together,I like the crowded atsmosphere, but it means getting there earlier than the regular 7 PM time.

We are planning to catch some horse races and then go to the NM!Looks like we need to get there around 5:30 to guarantee seating and parking! So we will leave the races at 5pm.

I hope most show up early so we can sit together!Saving seats just doesn't work on football night! We like to get 2 tables together ,so the girls can seperate and yak yak too!

Hope to see lots of people early in front of food stall #20!There will be 4 of us,2 couples, coming from NK for sure! :D

Ain't those horses kinda big to be catching?????? Or did I read too much into that??????? 55555555++++

See you all there......the last 2 tables towards the big screen, if someone can grab them and get them reserved if you can. The big guy who sells beer there will do that, I'm sure. He did it for me.

ok, there should be a table reserved for us, Ree called and requested, if no memory loss, it will be the last set of wooden bench type at the corner, of our favorite Tiger vendor. hopefully they will not show 615 game, as they usually have the news on, way too loud. that is the good thing about football night, no worries of loud music.

i will try to arrive myself about 6pm, showered and just the the thai time people to get ready and do a home munch.

cya there.

OK heres your T1O beer tower report while still burly in my mind. To start if you were in Udon and missed it shame on you you missed a great party. The unofficial count was 15 and happy to say that Udon newest resident made it, welcome Phil.

For those not here or choose to stay away heres what you missed. Besides new and non posting members showing up it was a great meeting as now there are faces to the names on the board. Another Thai moment was when during a storm most of the city including the monthly meeting was plunged into darkness. We being fine upstanding citizens held firmly to our beers and rode out the storm. I'm happy to say a good time was had by all and for those not here in Udon we all enjoyed your portion on Tiger Beer for you.

Well it seems I made it home alive and in one piece to write this hazy report that I will probably regret in the morning. So to those of you that came forth and enjoyed a great evening, cheers! For those you could not make it because stuck in falangland my sympathies.

Yep,great time!!! Big cheer for Ree because she called ahead and reserved 2 tables for us!The problem was that her other half,LA,convinced the rain Gods to knock out the electricity because he doesnt like football on the big screen!!! Personally,I think he just wanted to pocket the Tiger Beer Towers money

Are you kidding,15 towers with half of them served in the dark?
I think Aussieboy was trolling and snagged 1 or 2 passing by,not sure if they were members or just saw the Tower   Then there was Pops,LA,Pakawalla,Philjones,Tha1on,Kevn,PapaquidoAussieboy,Paul(my friend from NK that reads the forum but doesn't post) and I think we should include Valentine although his back was to us and he was not a participant in the Towers!

It should be noted that the second table of wives ,GF's and siblings did not partcipate in the towers either although some funny fuzzy things could have been going on in the dark!I'm not sure because I was keeping my eye on the money in LA's shirt pocket

The big advantage that I had was ''Tiger Girl''set the Tower right in front of me so she could ''rub'' up against me while she filled the glasses   I don't think anybody else noticed including my wife!Love a smart pretty woman that knows what she likes and has ''good taste''

Anyway,it got kinda dark and fuzzy in there,so I might have missed a name or two!It wasn't the biggest group that we have had,but it was very enjoyable night out!All the problems of the World were solved , new ways of riches and success were discussed along with some perfect golf shots, housebuilding tips, lovely beer girls noted and a couple of cheers for goals scored, not to mention my preferred ''seating''!! =D>
